Annie, I really don’t think it’s a valid defense.
Inferi only asks/suggests people to post when they are participants in his own thread, and it only comes after extended periods of inactivity. That’s a completely reasonable thing for a thread-owner to do, because they need to determine if people actually intend to post or if they have lost interest. And I’ve never seen him repeatedly question the same person. And even then, they usually need read more as suggestions than requests or demands.
The problem when you do it, Annie, is that you ask people to post on threads when you do not even manage those threads. It is not your responsibility to manage that. And even after being told no or to stop asking, you will still continue to ask. That is what people dislike.
