Yes. Real life athletic ability transfers over, because this is their new real life.

Of course, leveling up boosts athletic ability suitably for your class. It all adds up.

So you start out as unfit, possibly unhealthy specimens who have no right being adventurers and will need a lot of fucking luck and work to not die... But it gets better.

Eh, Maybe I'll add a ranger in the final version. Those will probably be the final descriptions, but I'm otherwise planning out the actual story beforehand so I know where to go bit by bit. I am Inferi.

So this is basically Grimgar from Fantasy and Ash. :P Will there also be an A-team full of success stories that exist simply to shun our characters and trivialise their petty victories?

Really? All of the Grimgar B-team gave me the impression that they were either loners, misunderstood or felt out of place in the real world. They certainly weren't wallflowers - or does your definition of basement dweller only extend to those who are bespeckled, have a lisp and have a horrid pimple problem?

There are various kinds of basement dweller, but for this roleplay I'm leaning towards some pretty hopeless fuckers. It's why they were chosen. It isn't like they have to be hideous abominations, but take Grimgar and add less charisma and more internet culture. I am Inferi.
