Why does it need to be secret? It's the biggest medical innovation of the century! Surely if they could show results, they'd be swimming in investments. I imagine the braintrust could even be boiled down to a (clockwork?) mechanic and a doctor.
I've been watching some Warhammer 40k stuff. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think I’m starting to understand why the Chaos Gods are preferable to the Imperium. I mean, the Imperium have the resources to make the average citizen happier... but, instead, they subject the average citizen to death camps, purges, famine, legalised gang extortion and plagues. All because doing otherwise would be sacrilege. If it was designed that way, it must stay that way!
My sympathy for the Imperium of Man is now non-existant.

His target: I'd actually like to know before I specify this, since the idea I had initially was recently joined by a second one and I don't know which I like better: would he take a contract that's pretty vague as well as classified as extremely dangerous?

Depending on the notoriety of the target, there might be multiple Bounty Hunters after them. If there are, Cooke might know that, Cooke might not. If the contract had spotty/little information, the information you give me on what Cooke knows will be on the “Work he's done himself” side, being his own research, tracking, observational skills. If he still doesn't know much, that's fine. One thing that I think would be necessary is how long Cooke has been following this bounty, and why/how Cooke knows his target is on the airship.
Oh, I mentioned in the bio that he's done a few bounties for the Guild. Would this be a Bounty from them? Also, since the Mateba Autorevolver doesn't exist in a world with crystallis tech, what model name, or failing that, common nickname does his revolver have? (i.e. Colt Single Action Army/Peacemaker, Smith & Wesson Model 29/.44 Magnum) It might not have an immediate effect, or be necessary right away, but it would be nice to know when Cooke inevitably does a monologue about it. Other than that, I don't think you're missing anything!
Cooke's no snowflake. He just belongs in a Western. That isn't snowflakey, is it?
