I'm wondering if it might be amusing to make a "childhood friend" of Gareth Jr. Maybe she'll be a dutybound redhead who wants to drag Gareth over to the military? :P

Hey man, stuff that says "REALLY DANGEROUS IS GOING TO KILL YOU" obviously isn't anything you need to worry about.

About character death,
I agree with West, character death is powerful, and is excluded in our RPs. I did sometimes kill-off important NPCs, but that's not as good as an actual main character dying. So ya, I can be criticized for kiddygloves, but I just don't like killing someone else's character, it feels rude. But ya, I suppose the option of self-sacrifice, or self-destruction to defeating a powerful enemy, could be a useful tool in an RP. I think that, if users posted multiple characters at once, this would be more likely to happen.
I also considered ''user-controlled bosses'' in my RPs, when a user controls a boss-like enemy, which must eventually die. However, this did not work in As Demons Weeping, thus far.

Ha, dead-end example there, Inferi, but ya, that would make a very serious situation. Like, in my underwater deep sea RP idea, a submarine/glass could be cracking apart, and inside are enemies (and/or allies), and you RPing as a Big Daddy (or something) is outside, and just to be a douche, you break the glass, pouring water into the thing, drowning everyone with a horrible death. In other words, I think it's equally important to instill such dread and emotion in the NPCs you must kill.

Speaking of ITF, I did preplan Spirry's demise, already having a few ways to do it, but I can't read Angel's mind, so my plans may not work. As a backup, I can rely on Spirry's own backstory involved in two other selfs.

What're you having trouble with? If you discuss it, it might help to give you some ideas.

Aye, this.

As for death in this particular RP I have, it's unlikely (given that I think of it akin to an anime or JRPG, so the main cast really doesn't die) but I'm not going to rule it out. As I said, if it happens, it'll be because someone made a critical error, and I'm going to try my best not to save you from those.

EDIT: OH OH OH FYSYX I'M SORRY AND FORGOT ABOUT YOU EVERY POST I MADE TODAY

You're accepted, and sure, I'll have you have a target on there. It fits in nicely with what I already have planned. That is, unless you had something specific in mind, in which case I probably couldn't have it go as well with what I had planned.
Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

That bit wasn't really aimed at you specifically – we all tend to do it. Plus we haven’t really had a story that has called for characters to drop like flies (see Attack on Titan or Blue Gender, where character exposition is often followed by death).

Oh, I meant to mean that generally as well, but thanks for clarifying of course. Hm, exposition to death, that's a bit too quick.

Annie, I'm still sick, but slowly getting better. Two nights of rainfall seems to be keeping Quesnel safe, or at least postpone what might happen.

I don't know what to write for my bio for Inferi's new thread

Here's a lazy bio to get you started. It still needs several passes of editing, some names and personal touches before it can be used. But it's a good concept for Inferi's thread (I think)

And before anyone accuses me of character stealing, this is for Annie, not me. O_o

~Bio Format~

Name: Annie Wells
Age: 13
Gender: Female

Appearance:
5”1’, 42kgs. A cute young girl in a spring yellow dress and flat slipons. She has long purple hair and eyes that possess a curious purplish tinge.

Profession/Skills: She’s small and light, so she can reach or hide in places that others can’t! She can start fires too, but mama would scold her… Oh, and she’s bright and optimistic, can do her own laundry and wakes up early!

Weaponry/Armor/Notable Accessories: A mask (shown in picture), a bag with clothes and packed sandwiches and a small purse containing her travel pass and a fistful of notes.

History:
Annie was the product of a separated family, her father moving away to take his post as a military ambassador when she was very little. This arrangement continued until recently, when Annie’s mother became frail and sickly. Leaving her in the care of her uncle for a time, she would arrange for her father to take guardianship.

A week after she died, Annie’s father made contact via letter. He would be happy to see her! The letter contained a single airship ticket, with an extra note – don’t be late!

Other: I’m totally going to use it. Just give me a minute. Any second now. Yup, I got nothing.
