It's different, but practically it's no different from your average Roleplay. The main difference is that actions succeed or fail based on chance, not plot convenience. This means you have to focus on the now to create the future.
The system itself, I feel, is simple (and that’s saying something – I’m the biggest critic on my own GM rules). The way it works is that you post an action, and from there, I will process the result. I will tell you the results of that action, so you can make a new action. So, in short, you’ll likely never see a dice (unless you request to make your own rolls).
So, practically speaking, it’s no different from a normal roleplay – only posts are much shorter and interactions with the GM and other characters are more frequent.

So uhh, for your thread West is everyone's chance to succeed or fail at every skill the same? So the big strong dude is equally as likely to fuck up a contest of strength than the small weak girl?
Or, you know, are bonuses being applied to heighten chances of success at stuff they're good at.
