I think lightsabers are stronger/more potent than energy swords, seeing as Quigon Jinn burns through blast swords with his in Episode 1, whereas the energy sword is never depicted as melting through a foot of metal. However, the energy sword seems to destroy kinetic barriers/force fields, whereas the lightsaber is depicted as not necessarily destroying such shielding in one hit, hence why the Jedi don't ever try to attack through the Droideka's shields, for example.
Good point Inferi, indeed, a lightsaber's potency seems to be based on one's usage of the Force, whereas just about anyone can grab an energy sword, charge, and kill most enemies in one hit.
Hm, General Grievious was trained by Count Dooku, right? I'm guessing his cybernetics/AI may have been installed with additional algorithms to utilize light sabers.
Annie's young age and small size means that she can indeed be killed easily in a bad situation, but if she fights and hops around like Yoda, she could chop things up pretty quickly, too.

Annie is now falling to the Darkside. But ya, Jedi would make excellent thieves.
Yes, but we have to compromise once in a while. I want my role-plays to be enjoyed by everyone, one way or another, so shortcuts may have to be taken once in a while, for the sake of progressing the role-play and its characters. Not always an easy task, mind you.

They'd make better bartenders. Everyone's weak-minded because they have been drinking, so you can mind-trick them into buying even more drinks. If they drink too much or start to get rowdy, just mind-trick them into leaving.
