The wiki actually exists; It has an extensive list of abilitys from comic books, anime, manga and other tv shows. It's kind of my cheatsheet for when I don't have the inclination to hit up tvtropes. :P

I'm just watching some fight scenes to inspire my vampire and werewolf RP. Capoeira seems to suit werewolves pretty well, and I'm thinking of giving vampires some martial arts capabilities as well, but I want to make werewolves the specialists in it. Vampires on the other hand could throw in some magic and illusions as well as flying, while werewolves would be much better physically. And both I'm planning to give weapons too.

Also, how would you guys feel about a western RP?

Ancient, I don't think you should make your role-play, since there is not much activity right now and no one's posted any interest in it yet. College ends mid-may May, probably May 12, so it may be a good idea to wait until then. Otherwise, you may be spending a lot of time making a role-play no one will join.

As for martial arts for werewolves, considering they have jaws and teeth, they would probably fight best as their animal counter parts would: wrestling mixed with biting. Striking would not be useful, as they'd just bite the incoming limb, and make it even worse for the striker. Any fancy moves with twirling would be stupid, as a werewolf would simply immediately pounce upon one's foe, and start biting, pawing and wrestling, exactly as wolves and cats do.

I'm also not sure I'll be able to pick the right powers for everyone, should we follow the same mechanic (I sure as hell didn't know what to do with Heat/Cold manipulation until I encountered The Fourth Wave in Needless - something Inferi probably wouldn't have allowed... :P )

Meh, other people had more powerful abilities if they mastered them, so I probably wouldn't have minded.
Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

You tended to give secondary support abilities to everyone, if I remember correctly. O_o

Frankly, I'm fine with powers being chosen for us so long as the powers end up being something that can, you know, become stronger.

Invisibility was great and all, but it can't exactly get much better than "you can't see me".
I am Inferi.
