So you're saying with ANY psionic power a character can conjure any weapon they consider as belonging to them? Or rather, would a character need to take a physical weapon and place it within this 'inventory', thus losing it until they conjure it again, and thus stock it up that way... Or is it some other kind of method that I'm not really grasping here?

Because hammerspace is simple to me. Put something in, take it out later whenever you like. You're bringing up mental projection, conjuring and stuff working through thoughts and memories which... Has rather confused me on the whole idea. I am Inferi.

Here's the psionic powers base abilities, plus whatever discipline you choose:
"Mind over matter; psionics literally use the power of their thoughts to manipulate their surroundings. They can emit brief pushes of force, which blasts things away or amplify one's jumps. They also possess mental projection, allowing them to conjure up to a few handheld items."

Yes, it's like your hammer space/inventory, however, if there is interference, such as two people thinking the same item belongs to them, then mental projection of that item won't work. For me, hammerspace, mental projection, and conjuration of memory-based items are all basically the same thing for me. We can assume they work together in some way.

Mostly I wnat clarification on 'conjure up'. Is it the actual physical weapon being conjured from wherever the hell it is at the time or is it a psionic knockoff?

I.E: For example, say Gideon's ancient bastard sword is two miles away in a chest or something. He 'cconjures it', is the weapon in the chest now gone from there and in his hand instead? Or is it a psionic copy, and the physical weapon is still there? Or is it actual hammerspace, and he can only conjure items he has placed within that hammerspace, meaning they are not on the physical plane and are waiting inside that hammerspace plane.

That's what I want to figure out. I am Inferi.

Conjuration is the process of inducing magic. When psionics conjure/summon/cast an item, they mentally produce the item or cause it to disappear, as if teleporting it out of their thoughts. So yes, we can say it's a psionic knockoff.

Gideon's sword would teleport from the chest, through his thoughts, into his hand.



On another note, I updated the races. I removed the Gorillians, as I felt they were overpowered: something as powerful as a gorilla, that then advanced to the Iron Age, that can also swing through the jungle, being very fast and capable of overpowering just about anything with sheer brute force and speed, I felt did not have enough disadvantages, so they are gone. I replaced them with Otarii (singular Otari), a race of evolved sea lions/walruses.
