Annie,
You mention twice werewolves shooting arrows, though they don't have archers, I described the werewolves on the walls as spear-throwers who also have stones to throw. You can just delete the mentions of arrows.
You mention "hail balls" which I think are chunks of ice, which kill a few werewolves, though you don't specify how they die. A few balls of ice would not kill an adult human, even if hit in the head (unless they were fist-sized).
Note that the story features a form of realism, and I describe the werewolves during the fighting as being impaled by spears, yet they writhe up the shafts and continue fighting anyways, which was done historically. Even human beings were recorded to get skewered by swords, spears, bayonets or lances, and still keep on fighting, even if they had weapon tips rammed into their bodies.
For example:
R*v. Caesar Caine & Pvt. Thomas Malcolm, Barracks and Battlefields in India, 1891,
“The enemy (Sikh swordsmen) received us (the 10th foot) sword in hand (at Mooltan, 1848), and fought like wild men, actually fighting with their swords when our men’s bayonets were in their bodies.”
Thus, having fur and able to dodge, the werewolves would be able to avoid projectiles even ones that are magically imbued. It would make sense if instead of "killed" they were "knocked out" if they could not dodge. Try to note that enemies, like Annie, can also dodge, move, think and react, just like people and animals.
Anyways, I'm done for tonight, see ya'll tomorrow.
