She won't be considered a threat after she killed half the boarding party by herself and then set another three on fire with a single action? If I were one of the pirates, I'd take the three seconds necessary to stab her and make sure such a terror doesn't get back up ever again.
Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

I am keeping it as I have it. She is not going to faint because I always have her faint when she discovers that she has powers. It's time to do something new.
-Dances-
Maybe she sneaks below decks to escape the fighting and then falls headfirst into a pile of blood and is therefore mistaken as dead as she is covered in the blood of a dead crewmember. It would take someone really inquisitive to know that she is still alive and no one would have the time to investigate until after the battle is over. In that respect fainting is feasible.

I hadn't read Annie's updated post when I was typing that, and was unaware of any fire magic occurring. But she didn't kill half the boarding party by herself.

Still, it doesn't sound like she can do much fighting now, being burnt, already suffering a stab wound, and on the verge of fainting.

If not fainting, maybe she backs into a corner below decks and continues to fight although delirious and exhausted also I would imagine that there are many places where she could hide This is a ship, Ships during this time had to take lots of supplies to get to places.

She's killed about as many as everyone else put together, so I figured it was fair to call it half of the boarding party.

Honestly at this point she has probably lost a fair bit of blood from being stabbed in the shoulder, and her wound is at risk of being infected.
