You're misunderstanding me. Re-introing is something that isn't bad at all. What I don't like is being skipped over simply because I have things going on in real life and can't keep up with people that have more spare time than I do. That makes it feel as though whoever the character is isn't important, since if they can be removed at any point they obviously don't matter much. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

Getting skipped over sucks, but I feel allowing a character to leave and do something else offscreen is different from merely getting ignored - and is many times preferable to having them hang around on autopilot in the background. As they say in the walking dead, Inaction is in itself an action!


EDIT: Should I let this character for Scions keep their given name, or abide by the 'one steve limit'? :P Otherwise, I think this bio is done.

You're right, being ignored or neglected isn't fun, though I thought that maybe keeping the character busy elsewhere made sense, such as busy fighting, making a distraction, spying, or what have you. And yes, real-life always comes first, and there is difficulty when there's just not enough time for anything. I have this exact problem myself, so I sacrifice real-life friends, and real-life in general, just so I can work on my RPs! I'm also a bit under pressure, because I do plan on being away soon, and then late April I plan on driving to USA for job hunting, 'cause Canada isn't doing so well.

I think it's fine, I can still differentiate between the Ravens anyways. As I like to say, just do whatever you want.

The information told me to go to location of her tribe. So I went there and hide there for a few days. I was about to leave and I saw a young woman and her pet, who was crying about the destruction of the tribe. So I believed it was her so I followed her and then she got attack. A man came to her recuse and she confirmed it was her. Then I followed them to this city.

Yo, Annie, that isn't what happened.

My memory may be foggy, but I'm pretty sure Aylin's tribe was destroyed years (or months) before this thread began, and she had been running ever since. When Joric found her, she told him she was from the Woodland Tribe - which was a lie - but he had managed to deduce her identity regardless, and didn't actually reveal that he knew until they were in the city itself.

Now, I may not be 100% right on some facts, but I'm pretty sure that's the general idea of what went down. Wolf can correct me if I'm wrong.

If I may suggest an alternate possibility: Annie was following Joric's scouting party, and saw him risk life and limb to save Aylin despite being vastly outnumbered by two increasingly hostile forces. Wondering why he took such a great (almost suicidal, thinking back on it) risk to protect a stranger, Annie wondered if there was more to the girl than meets the eye, and decided to follow them. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

Try not to depict your character manhandling multiple foes single-handedly seemingly within seconds. Your character is a 16-year-old girl who is 5'1", there is no way she can kill 'some' adult enemy warriors within seconds. You don't need to edit anything, as your latest post does not interfere with anything, but be mindful about what actually is described.
