Hm, if you had a character who was involved in a battle for example, every time you are unavailable, your character could be busy fighting elsewhere, allowing others to go along at their own user's pace.
Which is kinda a big fuck you to me, and the reason I don't really want to cause the situation to happen in the first place. It's basically just tossing me out of the way and saying I essentially don't contribute, which I don't disagree with but don't want to have happen.
I actually disagree with disagreeing on this concept. It's better than holding everyone up, and if written well, will allow a character to re-enter a story while not giving the perception of being shoved into purgatory for a month or two.
The issue is in what actually happens, whereby a roleplayer returns and has to slot themselves into the story, rather than allowing a natural series of events flow them back into the story. If that makes any sense.
I tried rewriting the bio for scions, but it turned out to be a

expy of a certain demonic character.
I don't know why, but I seem to have an interest in villainous heroes at the moment.
