Turns out the first day's orientation was pretty easy, just four hours of sitting and watching, so I will have enough time for role-playing today and tonight.

Anyways, I just realized there are two important things missing in Scions: there is no shape-shifting mentioned anywhere, and there isn't a plant- or tree-based race. I was thinking of getting a race somewhat based off Deku Scrubs from Zelda or something. I will try to make some room for just that, if I can.

Wolf, my next post is about 25% done, but I am feeling the effects of lack of sleep. I was awake since 6 AM, so I'll need some rest. I should be able to post later during nighttime.

Anyways, added Arbors, a race of tree-people who potentially have features of flowers, mushrooms or plants. Arbor means 'tree' in Latin, so that's where their name comes from, and not meant to refer to a pergola. The thread now has thirty-five unique races, and a few subfamilies of a few races.

Scions of Sorcery is meant to have a strong focus on storytelling and and character-centric lore, and so is a rather ambitious project. Hopefully, it'll work.

Speaking of which, I actually couldn't figure out where to put shape-shifting, honestly. I don't know how it could work, like does your character completely morph into someone else, or is it just an illusion? I was thinking it can be part of psionics somewhere, and maybe even part of sarkamancy. I just need some time to work it out in the thread.

I have sleeping problems, so every bit of sleep is a treat for me. I tend to fall asleep up to a few hours after midnight.

I added shape-shifting in tier 2 sarkamancy, as the flesh-magic allows one's body to adjust to morph into the appearance of something else, for example. Tier 1 psionics allows user to fool individuals into thinking they are witnessing something else, so like an illusion of shape-shifting. I do not know where else, or how, to add shape-shifting elsewhere. I think I can include it in tier 3 sorcery or something.
