Emo if you would like when ever i am on we can go in game and practice a little, because that is the best way to learn something by doing it.

and i will respond to your post when cap responds to mine, so that i can keep my two nations on the same page as far as responses go.

but i don't like waiting so i might just go ahead and post

Oh my, even if Horic decides not to accept help from the Grays, Eodis may still send a regiment forth to raid the Sorus empire without orders! Nevertheless, perhaps the Gray king will find out troubles between Gray clans and Goerack tribes, and maybe find interest there. But we'll wait and see what happens.

Also, I have finished reading Lost Kingom and all bios, I will be making my own soon, it'll be quite interesting I hope!

Thanks for the interest Az*garath. I was wondering what you thought of the Intro? I modeled the first half after my own experiences in Africa. I spent some time with native tribes who still practiced the first form of hunting, Endurance hunting, used before humans wielded projectile weapons, where they basically chased down an animal for hours before it collapsed because their stamina is inferior to humans.

Oh and Mimring, if you're here, you're accepted. I'll add you to the character list.

Sooo, Venom...I see that magic is rare and prohibited in most places, so...would someone that is a very adept necromancy user be at all feasible?

Not a problem if not (and knowing me I won't get anything done even if I make her) so don't give me any special hate treatment because you are me of who I am.

Oh, and people that have subject characters that aren't the three newest ones: sorry if the intro didn't give you much. The idea with it was that you tell me where you're going/what you're doing and I can give you something from there. Shockingly, I don't have an immediate story event planned.

If you want a violent, evil, murderous less restricted magic user like (or any kind of character), I sort of made Grathania the place where you can kill people in the street and nobody cares because it's an uber violent, warlike place. Like, I'll comment on the constant needless warfare in Ebarus, but Grathania is truly barbaric.

So yeah. I just made Ebarus restrictive of magic because magic might make some things too easy. I have a plan for magic users to be nerfed temporarily later on. You could describe your character's basic abilities to me now if you think you have to.

EDIT: I did want magic users, I just didn't want them to be too powerful. It's gonna be important later on.

Would anyone object to me making the area south of Londor (southern India) a mostly uninhabited wilderness? Or should I leave that open in case a late joiner wants to make their nation there?

It depends. Why do you want it to be "mostly" uninhabited?

The idea was that it'd be a sort of hunting grounds, primarily for the development of a character in Londor. Basically a flat savannah region. I just said mostly uninhabited, because I figured it'd be illogical for a region that large not to at least have some small tribal or nomadic groups.

Well, the character herself isn't barbaric in the least. In fact, she's more civilized than most people you'll meet. She's just a bit...off, since she hears dead people talking to her all the time.

As for abilities...well, the typical necromancy thing of animating corpses to fight for her. There's also speaking with the dead, but that's more of a character thing since you'd have to go out of your way to make it happen. I was also considering some kind of construction abilities to go with it; you know, like scraping together golems and ****. Not exactly necromancy but not too far off. Anything more, I'm not sure at all and was gonna think about it as stuff happened.

Emo Muslim, your bio seems fine, I didn't expect anyone to be a Native.

You should know that you probably won't start for a while since it's gonna take some time for everyone else to reach Morica. And I'm not sure how I'd fit you in, I guess I'll have you work for/with the main antagonist group and you can help fight against the "heroes." It'll be nice to have a guy on the opposite side to make fights harder.

But I want to make sure you understand rules regarding godmodding and such though. On the old Roleplaying Forum we had an Arena where people could practice fighting. Shame we didn't have a new one for here, it would be a great way to show beginners and people from the Story forum how to practice roleplaying.

I'd recommend you take up Corb's offer to practice in-game, since I'm too lazy to do it myself. Or we could work something out tomorrow.

Sounds swanky. Do you intend for her to be able to reanimate animals, monsters, and especially dinosaurs though? I'm tempted to allow that, but again, that wasn't something I was expecting.

You've been in Africa? Cool!

The hunters chase a boar-headed hippo, it gives up, and dies via a spear thrown through its head; presumably it went through the temples. Apparently, a giant monster manages to sneak up on the hunters. Fail! Some mention of wars and factions in Ebarus. A dwarf gives a speech about the mysterious land of Morica, south of the coasts of Grathania. With a rebellion up north, the Dwarf needs adventurous fellows to accompany him on his exploration. The promise of gold and free ale excites the crowd. Time to indulge in adventurous dinosaurs! I think the intro is good, but I wonder how the dinosaur snuck up on the huntsman!
