The word is offensive to people with disabilities. Please change it
Definitions of "retarded":
Adjective: less advanced in mental, physical, or social development than is usual for one's age.
Verb: delay or hold back in terms of progress, development, or accomplishment.
Synonyms: delay, slow down, slow up, hold back, hold up, set back, postpone, put back, detain, decelerate.
It was a bit insensitive for Azi to use it, true, but there's no use making a big deal out of it. To be honest, I'd say his post is more offensive to hillbillies than people with mental disabilities.

Hold on, Wolfpack, I thought you said I was going to describe the arrival at Dormoor?
Also, what about Azi's vikings who were approaching the group via riverboat?

If it gets reported it will be removed.
If it does get removed, it was Azi's choice to use that word. There were definitely better ways he could have written that which wouldn't risk a mute, but again, there's no use making a big deal out of it. That word shouldn't even be as offensive as people make it out to be. The only reason people do get so upset over it is because it was overused in the past.
He could have just as easily used any other mental illness, perhaps one that few people have heard of, and I doubt you would even be upset.

If it gets reported it will be removed, potentially get Azi muted or banned for 3 days to forever, and remove one of the most active GM's we have over a minor infraction.
If you're going to win a debate without fostering hatred for yourself, you need to win fights with fair logic and consequences - explain to us why it's offensive, not that it's ban-able.

It is insulting Because in the olden days people with disabilities were called that name. Some people even still use that word to talk about you with disabilities. That's why it needs to be removed.

A little more on topic, I don't think I ever mentioned Anja ever approaching Annie. I actually imagine there being a good gap between them at this time (meaning it's very unlikely Annie could push Anja away). I mean, the girl is probably shit scared and has a pistol at her side, who'd approach that without first wading the waters?
I also didn't mean for what Anja said to be misconstrued for actual compassion and/or forgiveness - more like... empathy? Or, as she said, a conversation starter rudely interrupted by our aforementioned hillbilly driver.
