Honestly, Annie, I personally think you're being a little oversensitive here. Yes, it is an offensive term, but in this case, it wasn't used to make fun of someone more mentally challenged in a way they couldn't help. It also wasn't a broad statement about American hillbillies; just a description of this specific trucker.



... I have a feeling I should have asked wolf about some aspects of that intro (namely, can we take cars?), or maybe taken the time to proof read it. Or maybe even stick to the theme I'm trying to create for the character - or even pretend she has friends. but. IT'S DONE.
