Although I am not involved in the thread, here are my two cents on the matter. Disclaimer: I hsven't read the post.
First off, you can't dodge a bullet unless you see the gun pointed at you in advance. But even then, you have no way of knowing when they would fire.
Second, wouldn't it depend on where Dirk fired and which way Annie dodged?
Edit: Okay, I just read the post. Annie dodged when she heard the shot, so she was too late to get out of the way if the shot was actually aimed at her. So it probably wouldn't have hit her at all.
That's just my opinion.
For future reference, you can't really dodge bullets unless you move immediately before they fire. But you would need to know when they are going to fire, which is impossible unless you are really good at reading and reacting to body language.
