(cont. from previous page)

Anyways, thanks again for taking the time to reply, though you actually did**t offer many tips on fighting Goeracks! I did reread your bio of that race, but I may have forgotten or missed some key details. Next time, I will stop action prior to violence erupting. Hopefully, I’ll be more level-headed than a Gray next time. I do apologize for my impulsive, reckless, and ignorant behaviour; I really feel like the race I created! Oh, and speaking of which, I have used similar races to Grays in the past several years ago, and I may reuse that old idea later as a differing nation.

Thanks for the clarification Capt, at least I did better than last time in Into the Fire. I thought that an action scene wouldn’t matter due to me using unnamed undefined Goeracks and Grays; I also expected Corb to then retaliate by killing off all the raiders in his *turn” for his peoples’ response.

In advance, I will say that Corb can retaliate against the Gray raiders in any way he wishes as I thought would happen. Half of them are beaten down to the ground already, and those still standing are disorganized and spread apart, and their horns keep getting stuck in branches and vines.

(Page 137) Corb, I still stand by what I thought yesterday; if you prefer the Grays to retreat (and lose half their warriors inevitably), that’s ok, but you are welcome to pursue them or deal with them any way you wish.

Gray Minotaurs on opium, anyone? Well, they live in an Himalayan environment, so I guess they wouldn’t have any.

Welcome back Angel, I hope you’re doing better. A list of races can be found on the first page on Kingdom of Karrus RP thread.

CaptLasky sums up the Griv (c) oth situation very well. Ohhh! That annoying censor. I will have to look over the RP thread and read the newer additions soon (The ** stands for Gr).

A song!
*The **ivoths be fighting all day,
The conflict is really quite Gray,
Not quite a civil war,
But what are they fighting for?*

Excellent! You have the heart of a poet. I also pondered why the Grays fight so much they keep their population low. They are tribal, territorial, hot-headed and aggressive, and as hinted during The Meeting, they have unstoppable ego and want to always prove how much stronger they are to everyone else, to members of their own nation and others. It’s worse than civil war to me!

It's a classic case of wanting to secure your own independence but also wanting to assert your dominance over others. Give everyone that mindset and it's almost constant war.

Azi another response to further clearify

1: That was for future reference, and since it was still just a roaming back the female would be in the open. So thats all fine

2: Unless your blades are as long as your body the Goerak would still have reach. It while grabbing you he was stabbed with a horn it would only make him want to kill whatever is wounding him faster. Plus considering the size of a bulls horn into this it would not completely prevent him from using his hand, and you have shoulders and a body to.

3: you are talking about finely crafted weapons, and if i do remember Cap iron would be our main material. Now some katana's were made from iron mixed with other materials, but to make one was an art not an everyday tribal thing. Not to mention seeing as you are a tribal race you would not be able to forge a weapon quite as strong. Swords can be dulled by taking them out of a scabbard. Not to mention he is reaching for you not out to the side for you to get a good cut in. So if you managed to get the arm straight on i would say (Also considering his arms are about head height to you) even raising your sword above your head would get you to the bone.

4: Beta's are not all there. I don't want to hurt their feelings, but they are a mistake and shouldn't have even survived. They wouldn't have produced adrenaline because they wouldn't have known what was going on. The most they do in their lifespan is dig in a dark tunnel, and sometimes the ones that can speak well will accompany an alpha. Seeing a sword come there way would not be a threat because they don't know what a sword is. If wanted to do something besides dig it would take a long time to explain. Savik is the only one with a few betas that know how to speak and preform tasks, and even those do not have a concept of war, fighting, or death.

5: In my bio i stated that the forest is mostly made up of large sequoia trees which happen to be extremely large. The body structure is a lot like a gorilla only bigger so it would make since that since they are bigger they couldn't climb on the same trees, but the fact is the sequoia tree is far thicker than normal trees. The sizes of the sequoia do very because of the age of the forest, but the smallest is at least twice that of an oak.

6: A gorilla (Which is a lot like my race) no better yet if you stared down a silver back you would say that it was massive and weighed a lot more than you. However, that same silverback could go to the gym have a nice work out and still run you down. (If they had a gym in the jungle) Now the goeraks don't have that speed but i would at least classify there stamina at a decent level. A house cat does not compare in this situation.

And holy **** cap thats pretty good

And i can admit that i probably didn't give the clearest description of the goeraks. I sort of have the same problem as you and emo except i don't write them down. Ill start and get these extensive details in my mind but only hit on the basics, which can leave confusion
