Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans; more specifically, the Gundam Barbatos, who wields what seems to be a flanged mace atop a polearm. As far as I know, however, polearms in Europe were commonly limited to blades, axes, hammers and pikes - never anything like a mace.
I wonder if such a weapon could be effective in a battlefield.
Original message details are unavailable.
notes: the suitcase Annie had possessed a primitive radio of some kind, which was detected by the strange guttural voices the Black Hand member contacted while in the inn. They mentioned the areas they would be travelling to, to intercept the signal.
Is the radio going off at present, or would they have to open the suitcase to hear it?
They already tracked the signal during the fire in the inn, and so are intercepting it. Currently, the suitcase radio seems to be off or not making any noise/did not find a signal.
Oh, and yes, most polearms were either in the fashion of pikes or halberds. Two-handed maces do not seem to have had poles so long they are classed as polearms, as far as I know.

Very busy. Still reviewing the ebook I bought from a close friend. I should be finished by September. In case anyone's interested, the ebook is called The Era of Darkness The Acquisition, by Elizabeth Lenz.
