I've only ever seen one example where that sort of thing worked in a way that avoided the problem you guys are discussing: When your clone's time 'ends' he just becomes you again. The details on the reintegration aren't important, but when he does reintegrate, you gain all of your clone's 'time' to say.

That is, all his wounds transfer to you, and all his memories transfer to you. You don't relive that moment, the memory from that perspective just is there, as if it had always been so. Bit confusing to wrap your head around, but pretty much takes care of the termination issue.

That is so good to hear. Here's a post that I had written a while ago but was too frightened to post.

--

Forward: I wrote this at 2 in the morning last night a few nights ago. This is apparently either the best of the worst time for me to write, and I haven't yet determined which.

Damn, man, now I'm feeling pressure towards making it feel right. :P

Force. Richard has the ability to create and project physical force in an outward manner. This takes two primary forms, although that is not the limit to which it can be used. 1, the creation and propulsion of invisible energy that makes contact and acts as though a physical object is making contact with the target. 2, the conjuration of a wall of force that stops physical objects from advancing past where it is located.

Does it make enough sense? I don't want to insult you at all with that question, I just don't know if I accurately described what it is.

It's definitely a great pick. And I totally get it. I've considered similar powers before, but never actualised them into characters. I'm going to rather enjoy this, I think, but not for the reasons I initially though.

I enjoy this kind of force-based power a lot – one of my favourite powers is telekinesis, which I've personally thought of as a sort of force power on a sliding scale of fine motor skills at small scale to overwhelming strength and power at large scale. However, I've always associated this type of power with intellectual types, like various magic-users in D&D and most of my characters that use telekinesis (namely Blair, *shudders*). I would say that Wreaks is not intellectual, though I don't think he's dumb. He's just a different kind of smart, one which I've never played and don't consider myself one of. This lets me further explore different fields; I know how I, and more intellectually smart characters would use these force powers, but I know that Wreaks will have very inventive uses that someone like me wouldn't consider. I have some more thoughts, but I've already talked enough and I still haven't even posted an intro yet. :/

I know that what I wrote above likely sounds unencouraging, but I really love it and I totally get the impression that I've spent waaay more time than I actually need overanalyzing why.

In a trend of discussion missing from my last few posts, I have some questions. Would we know any of the subjects who survived? I know I wouldn't know that, for instance, Kai and Allen survived, but would it be reasonable if we had all at least briefly met, or do we want to go a little bit more tabula rasa? I've been watching too many intellectual YouTube vids late at night, wow. Also, how long, especially concerning practice time, have we had our powers? Had they manifested before the big sleep, or do we wake up, crackling with powerful energies?

The picture is from Hellbound: Hellraiser 2, a film from 1988. The clip of the film can be found below:

I was thinking of an RP essentially something like an old-school horror film, as that's simple to work with, and has the intent to survive a nightmare, rather than brandish swords and slay the evil.

You can post whenever you want Fys. There's always calm waters here. Oh, and if anyone assumes I am angry or inflammatory, as the mod earlier seemed to have suggested (it also mentioned it should not have to remind us about what isn't welcome, but everything is welcome in my standards), I do not post criticisms with hatred, I post what I type as I would speak in real-life. I am very open, very direct, and very critical when I speak, as you all know. This is the most honest approach to all things.
