Well he could teach on their travel.

What are you looking for here, exactly? Annie already knows how to control her abilities, so I'd imagine anything he'd be teaching would be more...subtle. You don't need a sit-down teaching session - or in this case a walk/talk teaching session - to teach some of the more important things in life.

I mean, how do you know he isn't already teaching her?

Maybe she just wants her character to have a mentor/parental figure, and feels a few teaching sessions would be the best way to cement that? I don't think Annie (the character) fully understands the scope of her power, or has the necessary wisdom to use it effectively.

But Annie, you have to consider that Tempora Sage literally just joined them. And the night he joined, a demon had been summoned, forcing them to leave with all haste. One awkward and cramped boat ride later, and they are at our present situation. There's been no chance for him to actually teach her anything.

You can't teach someone, at least not accurately, what the scope of their power is. The only way to make someone really understand is to have them see it for themselves. The same goes for wisdom: you can't really teach wisdom, it's something that comes over time, and all that can really be done is set the groundwork for it to form. That's not done most effectively, at least not in my opinion, through direct lessons, but rather through showing someone different things through their interactions with the world. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

Annie, I don't know why you keep saying 'true.' What parts do you agree with? What parts do you disagree with? What are your own thoughts on the situation?

I don't mean to be rude, but it really doesn't offer much to the conversation.

Which can be done through some hands-on practice sessions in a controlled environment. Tempora may also wish to pass on his own knowledge of Time and Physics magic.

At the same time, wisdom isn't something that you learn entirely on your own, since a good part of wisdom is being able to take advice and guidance from those with more experience and knowledge than you.

Wisdom is also subjective, and everyone has a different definition and perception of it.

Some people have speculated that many of his children (Het, Scabaras, Apmeken, Crondis) are actually fragments of him, since we really see no mention of them lore-wise until after Tumeken's death.

As for Tumeken himself... yeah, he's a bit too weak. Especially since he had such a large Empire, and is the only god known to have children.

I'm pretty sure V is also Tier 5, which is a damn shame because the Freminnik are awesome.

Huh, that's interesting and something I'd not heard before. I'm not sure if I'm bought on it, but I will ponder over it.

The issue with V is that they hyped him too much, given what they were going to use him for. I'd rather see the original Fremennik deities such as the (real) Kendal, but what they made of V was pretty great so I won't complain.

So, seeing as Runescape is the flavour of the week... Thread where everyone starts off as noobs before any quest has been done with the chance to wildly change the outcome of every storyline in RS, or thread just after Guthix dies where everyone can join factions (including independent such as the Dragonkin, TzHaar, etc.) and either try to prevent or profiteer from the coming war?

The first would be contained to Lumbridge to begin with, due to the limited travelling capabilities of noobs. The second could start wherever because teletab party.

All I'm saying is that Soahc has the most experience and knowledge of any character on the thread. Join the dark side today!

Except maybe Mechanical, who is much older, but also from an entirely different reality (or perhaps just from the very distant past,) and therefore isn't an expert on all things Engelain like Soahc is.

I don't like how they just up and murdered him. I would have gladly sided with him over Zaros had they not killed him off. I get that you can still find his emissary and claim his title, but I'm not going to support a dead god.
