Do all Engelain emperors have "the ____" at the end of their name?

I will have Joric stage a power grab just so he can be known as "the Punisher" (get it?)

What is the likelihood of that happening, anyways?

Only the most memorable, which tend to either be the best of the emperors or the worst. Emperor Randolin the Lusty gets his name from his copious number of illegitimate children, whilst Tylord II is The Last due to the dynasty essentially ending with his death, (the next Emperor being a descendant of Randolin, who was Tylord's great grandfather,) and also as a sign that his reign was so reviled that no other emperor would ever take that name again. Most emperors are not given monikers; or more likely are given them in their time, but were not important enough to have any lasting impression in the minds of their citizens.

I would say the likelihood of Joric attaining the rank of Emperor is somewhat slim. He'd probably have a better chance at pope, which is elected, but if you're willing to perform a coup then y'know, I'm more than willing to roleplay it out with you to see where it takes things. I doubt that many of the lords within the empire would be willing to accept a non-human, non-Tywrought born (presumably,) non-empire member (again, presumably,) of no particular bloodline as their overlord, but at the same time this is a fantasy setting and anything can happen. I don't discourage people trying to undertake their own goals instead of that set out in the roleplay's introduction.
