He had to think of something quick and efficient; perhaps thinking about what the sorcerer did to him in the Tower of Babel would spark some sort of demonic power in him that could help?

If the Hydra attempts to ignore the tower and head to sea, the fight will be much more difficult for obvious reasons, but perhaps something will happen...

You've got me conflicted here: Awesome demonic powers at the cost of the lighthouse and probably those two dude I promised wouldn't get killed, or awesome mysterious event at the cost of probably almost drowning.

Decisions, decisions.

Side note: Apparently the first part of your name sets of the censors, which is super annoying.

About As Demons Weeping,
As the RP progresses, it is planned to gradually become more and more difficult. But, if you are clever or crafty, you may be able to merge or adjust the situation. For example, you can mention the archers get brave suddenly upon sight of Toothy in danger, and they run forth, jumping onto the Hydra like Glenn, and the beast destroys the lighthouse, and then slithers out into sea, or something like that, if you want.

Yes, Azi was always censored, for whatever reason. imo, the censoring should be simple and only censor out bad words in their full form.

^ oh look, it's not censored!

If Dirk wanted, he could initiate conversation with the businessmen and see what he could do. Or, he could eavesdrop on the other business for additional clues before making a decision, but if he waited too long...

... a cutscene would play, leading to the one and only good ending for the thread?

Keep yer bits, people. The Department has a budget, and if you guys blow it all on cybernetics, the Christmas party is going to be super disappointing.

They might need to look to other places for mechanical limbs should they run out of money.

I don't know about you, but I voted for my taxpayer money to fund pirate hooks and peg legs. Why, back in my day, we didn't have any need for this mechanical hoo-haa...

EDIT:
I got around to beginning Gwen's post when I began to wonder - does Gwen even know that Luther's father is on the boat? Till this point, her takeover has been more defensive than aggressive, having done no real reconnaissance beyond recognising that powerful holy powers resided upon the ship carrying dark artefacts. Meanwhile, a sea monster has conveniently chosen this exact moment to attack.

I'm torn, is this all chance correlation or causation? O_o

West, previous post
Not quite, but a black-and-white cut scene of something would happen.

Chasers,
Yes, Glenn's inner demon/demonic powers is up to you, so long as it's not too overwhelmingly powerful.

West, next post
Gwen doesn't know much, but Luther's father is on-board, that's just how the RP works. As Inkeyes said, those who are fated, the Fated, have a fixed destiny, so it's my excuse of saying “crazy things will happen conveniently for no reason”. However, the magical artifacts in the boat have attracted demonic forces to come to life. The sea monster is actually a “sea demon” of some kind, attracted to the powers of the artifacts. Basically, later on in the thread, whenever demons and Cambions drink the blood of the Demon God, they go crazy and become super powerful; demons have a natural craving for anything tainted/blessed by the Demon God, so they go crazy about it. The mummified jackal-man does not seem to be a demon, but does seem to have mistook Gwen for a pharaoh's daughter or wife, so not all pharaonic artifacts are demonic or corrupted.
