I'm afraid I've not read the comics, and haven't watched the last eight or so episodes, so I can't help you with that.

Raspur is a beloved character of mine. He was on one of Er Ril's threads called Broadsword and the Beast, and someone else had a character who was a rich general's son, whose armour was made of solid gold. When the thread's mission inevitably went wrong and Raspur realised he wasn't going to get his money, he instead kidnapped the general's son, sold him to the general's enemies, and sold his armour as well, before leaving the thread, having gotten enough money for him to be content for many months.

Ah yes, Veliaf Wilkar nicknamed him "Old Beardo."
