Humans have no qualms about research. The Slorians however have definite qualms about certain things, like AIs, Time travel, and certain other things. Slorians may be allies, with humans, but sometimes, they sabotage research that the humans do. Secretly they have broken the Human Internet code, diplomatic code, and the pass words of many research laboratories. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy! =)

It's more like what the Not* Koreans and Chinese do to the west everyday in the real world: they steal business secrets, research, financial information of business executives. But Slorians usually just monitor research and if something that catches their attention surfaces,
*BLOOP* stolen by the Slorians and replaced by junk data, computer viruses, and spam.

Slorians are smart enough to hide their digital signature quite well. They have reservations on the concept of time travel, AIs and other things.

Hmm, is it possible to use technotics to... say... recall shock memories from your immediate future? I'm thinking it could be a reverse engineered tech the Ikranians cooked up but eventually scrapped - after all, the technology does come dangerously close to timetravel in its loosest sense. Of course, humans would have no such qualms about this sort of research. No pain no gain, am*rite?

In a battlefield of unblockable beam spam, I don't think this will be too much of an advantage (and lets be honest, the idea itself could probably be scrapped and retitled good intuition, luck or plot armour ).

You mean like grenades that could accelerate someone's aging rate? Or reverse aging altogether? Like in the Curious Case of Benjamin Button, 'cept more futuristic?

I mean the ability to "remember" events that haven't happened yet - premonitions, if you will. It would actually be more correct to say information is sent back in time when the character in question feels strong emotions like stress, fear, rage or anxiety - allowing for a situation to be defused differently with information the character couldn't possibly know at the time.

To keep things simple, the character would remain in the "correct" timeline, and (hopefully) avoid the "bad end".

I'm also undecided if this has a more tactical usage (ie. detailed visions of danger 3 seconds into the future), or if the visions are played for drama, able to travel back to a time where the character in question knew they could do something to act on it (within 1-2 days, maybe?).

... Though I must admit, grenades that could accelerate someone's aging rate would be a rather devious weapon - though this kind of plot twist is usually reserved for the tragic genetically inferior clone with a complex.
