I was gone for a few days due to being extremely busy. I made a project exploring the developing of the Norman warrior, from his origins of the Norse huscarl and Frankish paladin, to his knighthood. I also explore the battles, adventures, weapon, armour, tactics, and philosophy involved. I ended up writing over 15k words, 30 pages, of text.

Anyways, I did on from page 133 to 137 or so, but I was not able to notice Angel's response to the issue Inferi mentioned. So, Angle, Mechanical Spirry appeared through a demon circle, but Inferi told me that the stipulation was that nothing can be summoned at the towncenter due to being protected by magic. Mechanical Spirry was not directly summoned, but used the demonic circle as a gateway into the world, at first just a thought, which manifested itself as blood and flesh, then grew back into his mechanical form. If you had already answered this, I missed it.

I also have a friend who lives in Venezuela, which is currently in chaos due to food shortages, socialism failing completely as always, so that has been giving me lots of stress lately.

So ya, all this hectic stuff may have impacted the quality of my RP scenarios for users.

Oh, and Wasted Monk/Emo, shall I continue the RP with Zaphiran and Bruno yet? Or will you be adding more to it?

I don't have much of anything to contribute.

I'd like to get back into RPing but I spend all of my time on the loading dock. Hopefully I ain't too rusty at writing/RPing when I make my return.

Might have to come up with a modern/post-modern thread to post, one of these days. Something like Cold Streets but with less hamburger men and strange mental patient people who come in to randomly harass people.

I worked out the other day that I am most likely the second-longest active RPer on the forums, with Loaned Shark being the first. It's very strange looking around one day and realising that all of the old faces are gone. I wish Inferi never started this trend of people calling me Angle.

I saw the issue raised, and Inferi is right, but you don't need to worry about it. I'll have things all cleared out in my next post.

Angel, how long have you been around since? I've been lurking since 2006, so I'm one of the newer oldies I believe. I know Gunslinger was here way before I was, but with changes of usernames it's hard to tell who's who anymore.

Either 2005 or 2006. When I went back on my account to check, the earliest post of mine I could find was in 2006, but I definitely spent a long time telling people that I came on in 2005. It's been so long now though that I can't tell whether that's the truth or if I smudged the numbers to make out like I was an older member than I actually was. Remember that back in the day, the closer you were to being around during the so-called, "Golden Age of Roleplaying," the more a part of the in-crowd you were. I definitely started Runescape in 2005, but when I found the forums is up in the air.

OK, thanks for clearing things up Angel. And yes, when I typed Angle, that was a typo, as everyone knew. I will pay more attention for sure in the days to come, I hope.

Anyways, I've been around since April 1, 2004, seeing as my account became ten years old in April 1, 2014. Contrary to the age of my account, I've only PKed three people, I don't have a single skill at 99, and I am unremarkable in everything. I do have Mining and Smithing at 85 though.

If you've been here since 2006, you've pretty much been here about as long as I have, and perhaps a bit longer. I think I first joined a thread here in 2006, then made my first one in 2007. Strange to think I was here ten years ago.
