The boys ran swiftly once more through the mighty jungle, leaping and dodging through a variety of different obstacles. The path back to their village of, Tai Bwo Wannai, was not an easy one to find, for it did not exist, the brush of the jungle grew at a pace so rapid, that constant efforts of the villagers were only just able to keep the growth from overrunning their homes. Leaping over a decaying fence, which could use some upkeep, the boys landed inside the ‘walls’ of their village, earning the attention of assorted cooks, who eagerly approached them, wondering what goodies lurked inside the bag they carried.
the boys informed the chiefs it was not theirs to eat, at least not yet, for the Hunt Master Jagter, had requested that the Grand Shamaness inspect the, karambwan-like creature they had captured. The Shamaness may have carried a prestigious title and respect amongst her people, but she was not one to be found pampering herself, inside a throne room. She was quite active in assisting in anyway, and it was for that reason she became very popular with the people, and earned her rank in a very short amount of time, she was just barely twenty eight. The rank of shaman, or shamaness, was normally not achieved until one’s hair began to grey, but through skill and tenaciousness, Aazzi Adal had earned her title. “Aazzi! Aazzi!” the boys shouted out, searching for the woman. It did*’t take long until they located her, turning the corpse of an overgrown spider into something delicious smelling.
“What, boys?” she asked, without turning her attention from the roasting spider, as she was almost ready to take it off the heat.
“We gats a package, from Jagter!” Chata said energetically, holding out the brown sack, which seemed to be shaking around “He dun told us ta ask ya, if da fish thingy in this here back is good fer eatin’!”
