“Of course, He will be alive by the end of the night.”
“No no no, the goddamned Divine Ones have joined up with the barbarians, and apparently they got the freaking Falador military involved with their ‘cause’.” Tuflos paused for a few moments.
“Well this is a tricky situation, how many healthy soldiers do we have left inside the city?”
“Thousand undead, three hundred human. No idea how many knights are with’em, but I know that the military of Falador is at least twenty thousand strong,” he rubbed his hand through his hair “but I got those numbers something like five years ago, they could have way more by now.”
“We only have to get through the rest of the day, just remain calm,” his voice was soothing in an odd way “and make sure to report any changes in activity, any.”
“Yeah alright boss man... think I’m gonna... gonna smoke.” he stuck a cigarette in his mouth and walked away while lighting it with a match.
“I bet his lungs are going to rot out.” Azura quietly remarked from behind. Tuflos did*’t sense anyone near, and her voice startled him, though he did*’t show it in anyway.
“He is protected, he will not die from anything short of an edged tool.” he told her, before stepping downstairs to make sure everything was running smoothly. Now that he was aware both the Divine Ones and the Falador military were involved, there could be no mistakes, no failures.
*What did he mean by that?” she wondered aloud, placing her hand on her chin.
“Come eat.” Ko told her from halfway up the staircase. Her room had been located upstairs. She followed him down to the same private section of the dining room to eat a small meal of colorful fruits and salted nuts. She remained very quiet, as she was desperate to stay on his good side, and did not want to somehow offend him.
