Azura was almost asleep, but she was certain she heard the ‘tap tap tap’ of heavy boots outside the staff shop *tap tap tap’. She peeked out her window, and saw a man out of the corner of her eye, moving into a shadow. “Just a thief...” she began to yawn, and turned around to return to her bed. On the ground, the gang members carefully moved into position around the Varrock Palace. There was a wall, too high to scale surrounding the entire estate, but there was one point of entrance; the main gate they locked at night. Inside the gate, four guards watched it, with more further in the palace. A beautiful woman with sharp curves and big hips approached the gate with a sly smile.

“Hey boys...” she called out, pressing herself against the iron gate. One of the four men stood up and strolled right on over.

“Hello...” he looked her up and down “May I help you ma’am?” he was trying to sound polite, but the look in his eye said it all. He was a young, single man with nothing but time to kill.

“Mind if I come in, and we could talk more?” she slipped her arms through the bars and pulled him closer, bringing her lips almost to his before pulling away again.

“No* called a guard from behind “No one inside after sun down.” she bit her bottom lip, and moved one of her hands to his stomach area, and feeling through his armor poked as his muscle.

“You sure do feel strong,” she giggled “and look handsome.” he shook his head and took a step back, remember your duty he thought to himself.

“Maybe you could come back tomorrow, but I have orders to keep this gate secure for the night.” he tried to sound stern and authoritative.

“Oh..” she sighed, turned, and took a few steps away. Her dress was entirely too short, and quite revealing “I don’t know, I won’t be in town tomorrow..” a bead of sweat formed on the guards forehead.

“Just open the goddamn gate and let’er in.” one of his friends said snickering. Licking his lips, he tried to keep his 'strong’ voice up.

“Well, I guess I can...” he walked a short distance to the wench that had to be cranked in order to open the gate. He went into overtime, as if his life depended on the gate opening, and in a matter of seconds, it was completely retracted, allowing anyone to enter. She smiled almost wickedly, confusing the guard, she merely crossed her arms and stood there. “You can come in now.” he said and took a step forward. Clang! A member of The Vial smashed him over the head with a piece of iron pipe, knocking him unconscious in one sturdy swing. Elder sprinted in and ripped out one guard’s throat with his claws, and the other two were killed by arrow fire before they could react.

Roxanne strolled into the palace courtyard, two strong men on either side of her “Lower the gate” Elder ordered. And so the gate screeched shut; its use was to keep out invaders, but now it served to keep in the entire palace work force. “Gather up.” he said in a whisper.

“Everything alright?” a pair of guards called, as they made their way to the noise they had heard. Elder lunged from the shadows, a genuinely scary thing he was to see, face mostly concealed by a hood, razors strapped to his fingers as a weapon. He slashed outward and sliced both their necks in one swift movement. He waved his hands downward forcefully, slinging blood off the claws. A huge minotaur began piling up the bodies out of sight, and somehow managed to do his work in silence. Continuing through the palace, Elder used a hand command to halt the now adrenaline fueled gangsters “Take prisoners, kill only if you need to.”

“Yes Sir.” Dief said pulling off the claws, and replacing them with some brass knuckles.

“We need to cover more ground more quickly; split into squads. Kopf you’ll lead this squad to the warrior quarters.” he said pointing at a group of fifteen members.

“Yes sir, c’mon grunts.” he said jokingly as they made their way towards the guard, and knight sleeping quarters. A pair of arrows went flying, another two guards dropped dead. The minotaur let out a grunt and puffed out some air from his nostrils as he meaningfully walked to collect the freshly slain corpses. He was grey skinned and had very large horns, with beady yellow eyes.

“Truand, you’ll lead these men to secure the servants quarters.”

“Sure thing boss man, let’s get a move on ya rats.” he dropped a cigarette on the ground and motioned for his assigned men to follow him. He was the only man there in three thousand coin suit.

“You watch the courtyard, and make sure no outsiders interfere.” he said to the delivery man and his massive minotaur familiar “Roxanne and her body guards are to assist you.” some fighting and sharp, yet very short lived screams could be heard down the corridors.

“The rest of you,” he said pointing to the group of seventeen unassigned guards “With me to secure the upstairs.”

“Let me out!” a sudden voice shouted from under the staircase “Whatever you’re doing, I can help.” Elder strolled over to the noise, reached out and felt metal bars. A prisoner; one of his guards leaned over and whispered into his ear.

“Zamorakian dog.” he ordered for him to be shot to death. His archers happily obliged. Jogging up the stairs, they almost instantly encountered what appeared to be ten guards playing a game of cards. One leapt up and ran off to sound an alarm, the other nine drew swords and moved in for combat. Elder was a head of the rest of his men towards the incoming opposition, though snake like, his courage was unwavering. Gouging throats and tearing out eyes were the main ways for him to harm the well armored Varrock guards.

He used his claws to catch one sword, and twist it out of its wielder’s hand, and then stabbed upwards through the man’s jaw, he managed to force the claws far enough to stab into the lower sections of the brain, killing the man. His skilled archers picked off another two, but his men were unfortunately not familiar with fighting disciplined and well armed enemies.

A knight named Tokur stabbed into the eye socket of one of his attackers, killing him. “They aren’t wearing armor!” he suddenly announced after managing to stab another Vial member in the chest and felt no resistance. This encouraged attacks on the more easy to strike area of the chest. Elder slipped his claw under the mail of one man, and managed to tear into him deep enough to cause severe bleeding. The guard stumbled away and bled out shortly after.

The knight Tukor identified Elder as the leader of the attack, “I offer you a challenge! The fighting instantly stopped. Tukor was a champion swordsman, and his fellow men felt he could easily kill any enemy no problem.

“What are the rules?” Elder said as he ordered his men to stand their ground.

“Just you and me, last one standing is the winner.”

“And what if I win?”

“My men will lay down their weapons, and you will leave without another word if I am the victor.” Elder nodded, and the fighting groups stood back as they waited for their respective champions to begin fighting. Tukor said the last one standing was the winner. Elder realized this was a very powerful enemy, he'd have to use his wits.

“Let’s start!” Tukor shouted and swung his sword lazily at the enemy, he was mainly trying to see how he handled incoming attacks. Elder simply side stepped the blade and stabbed forward with no intentions of causing any serious harm with that attack. The two tested each other for the few following blows, until finally Tukor let out a powerful stab. Elder grabbed the sword between his claws and attempted to twist it out of his hand, but he retaliated by smashing him with his shield. Elder kicked him in the stomach, causing him to stumble back. He ran and kicked again, but this time he was blocked by a shield.

Elder slashed out, and heard his claws dragging across armor, and knew his attack was useless, Tukor swung lightly at his arm, and Elder took advantage of the situation. He grabbed the sword arm, and stuck one leg behind his enemy, and then shoved him in the chest, causing him to trip into the ground. “And I am the last one standing.” Elder declared with a smirk. Tukor was speechless, but true to his word. He dropped his weapons and they were tied by the hands, and lead away to a holding area.
