A sunrise on the moonclan's island was unlike any sunrise one would witness, the morning mist seemed to be lighter than from the night before, and the sun pierced through it, allowing beautiful rays to dance about. What Aiden and Caden were interested in, however was not the beautiful sunrise, but the creatures that the sun revealed. The two woke early, mainly due to their rumbling stomachs. They went down stairs, uncertain weather or not the others were awake yet, as they all had separate rooms. They walked towards the dining room where seven plates of food was already waiting on them, though no one but Azura was insight.

She seemed bored, even though the sun had just barely peeked it's way over the horizon, it couldn't be earlier than six thirty. "You two are awake?" She said with a bit of confusion as she played with her food.

"Surprised?" Aiden said as he sat down to eat.

"We always wake up early, we just go back to sleep afterwards." Caden joked. Azura giggled.

"Aiden and Caden Cannebal have never woken up early on purpose so long as I've known them, did you replace them?" she laughed and took a sip of honey sweetened tea from her finely made, glass cup.

"Well we have adventuring and other manly things to do for today." Aiden flexed his arm and sarcastically praised his muscle. Caden took this opportunity to steal a fish from his brother's plate, Aiden grabbed a hold of the sea creature and it soon became a tug of war, that is until the spine of the fish gave out and it split in two, sending them both flying out of their chairs.

"Dammit Caden!" his brother roared and shot up off the ground.

"You shut up, you'll wake these poor tired moonclan folk!" He screamed equally as loud back to him. The two stared each other down as Azura watched intently, and then they sat down and continued eating.

"Well that was exciting." Azura remarked with a smirk "What 'manly' things are you doing today, anyway... I'm bored out of my wits, or some other term that isn't lame."

"Suqah hunting!" The two said loudly as they smashed their fists together.

"What're those?" Azura asked, as she summoned a small fire to the tip of finger, and waved it back and forth with a yawn.

"Huge well armored and hateful beasts." Aiden started.

"Some of them use magic, and can freeze a man in a block of ice." Caden picked up. Aiden cut off his brother before he could continue.

"But others try to drown you with 'water waves', I think it's some kind of spell." Caden decided to start speaking again.

"The cool thing is, they can do all three! So it's a lot of fun trying to overcome them." Azura seemed interested, she had been meaning to test out some of her latest creations, this would probably be as good a time as ever.

"I don't know, that sounds fun. I'll tag along I guess, you two aren't suited up yet, so I'll go ahead and do that." She stuck her fork in a squid-like thing and walked back up the stairs to her room to fetch her battle robes, and other equipment. Aiden and Caden finished their meals before going to fetch their heavy weapons and armor, the two always carried a large dagger, and their impressive size made those simple tools highly effective. It took a total of fifteen minutes for the brothers to get their gear on, with each others help. Azura was done in less time and was waiting down stairs for them. The three departed without saying anything to their group.

"So how do we find them?" Azura asked as they pushed out of the front gate of the town, and into the snow.

"Don't worry about that, they'll make it easy for us." Caden said with a chuckle.

"What do you mean?" She asked curiously.

"He means they'll find us." He reached to his back and grabbed his axe handle, making sure it was securely in place. The three shortly disappeared from sight of the town, into the mist.

Lowe, Ko, Anastasia, and Forrest slowly made their way downstairs about twenty minutes later, Lowe wasn't wearing his shirt, and Forrest hadn't bothered to put on anything but his underwear.

"Well what a treat for the eyes." Ana joked as she sat down and started eating, the food wasn't warm anymore, but it still tasted fine.

"Funny, why not join us?" Lowe said with a yawn, he grabbed the cup of milk before him and took a sip before staring at his plate for a minute "What the hell is this?" he said, poking an odd ball of flesh with his fork.

"Edible." Forrest said with a giggle as he started eating. Ko joined them a few minutes after the meal had begun, he was fully dressed, his hair combed, and he appeared to have washed his face.

"Morning." He said quietly and sat down at the end of the table.

"How are you feeling, none of your cuts are bothering you, no?" Ana asked as she finished her meal, and shoved the plate away.

"Perfectly fine." He replied with a smile, and began to eat. She thought it was funny he ate so politely, back straight, put down his silverware after every bite, neither of his arms on the table. Glancing over to Forrest, his meal was done, he wasn't a slow eater, as he always liked to get to work early.

"So fellas, I heard from the twins that there's a nice hot system of springs past that river, up on the hills, I'm gonna check it out myself, anyone interested?"

"No thank you, I feel a powerful presence of magic and knowledge on this island, and I plan to harvest it." Ko said in an excited tone "I think I saw a small summoning obelisk towards the front gate, actually, with any luck I can produce a few familiars while we're here." Lowe nodded.

"Yeah I'll join you, I could use a good hot soak, you in Ana?" he asked, he would like it if she joined them, but wouldn't be heart broken if she didn't.

"I think I will explore town a little, actually, maybe even try this 'summoning' thing, if I can." She pulled a small bottle of gin from her bathrobe and took a drink.

"Where did you get that from?" Lowe asked with a mildly confused expression.

"I had packed it." she said with a shrug, and continued drinking.

"How many bottles did you bring, I watched you drink away two at the Fremmnnik hall, at least three on the ship, I watched you drink those... And now you've got this?" She only replied with a chuckle.

"Well we oughta get dressed if we's gonna get to dem springs in a timely fashion." Forrest said, standing up and jogging up the stairs back to his room.

Lowe followed behind him, and Anastasia informed Ko she would return in a few minutes so they could go check out the town. Lowe emerged downstairs dressed in his black hide, and a firm coat over it. He also carried his bow strapped to his back, and enough arrows to make sure anything that bothered him, wouldn't bother him anymore. Forrest wore some close fitting, yet flexible leather pants, and a normal white long sleeved shirt, his shirt tucked in, and he wore a belt even though he didn't need one. He looked very nice and neat, he slipped on his fur coat and made sure he had his hatchet strapped firmly onto his back.

"Ready?" Lowe asked, his answer was a nod, and the two were soon out the door and moving towards the front gate, Forrest looked to his friend with a smirk.

"Betcha I'll win a race from here to there." he said pointing to the gate.

"Sure you will." Lowe replied, showing no interest in racing, when suddenly he bolted off as quickly as he could, Forrest close behind. As Lowe neared the finish line, with guards and citizens both staring at them as if they were completely stupid, Forrest leapt with all his might, sliding through the snow and beating Lowe by mere inches.

"Dammit." Lowe said breathing hard to catch his breath, he could run at a normal speed for a while, but sprinting was a little different.

"Ya ain't quick enough, boy." Forrest said, punching him in the shoulder playfully.

"Oh shut up, besides, I'm five years older than you."

"Yeah yer right, too slow old man." Lowe extended his leg, and tried to trip him, Forrest stumbled and grabbed Lowe's arm and yanked him to the ground with him "This is gone be a long walk if ya don't cut it out." he laughed, and stood back up. They both hoped it wouldn't be too much longer until they reached the springs, they both needed to relax and clear their minds.

As Ko and Anastasia walked into the streets, they noticed most of the people simply stared at them, or completely ignored them. "What a friendly bunch of people." Ko remarked.

"Hahaha, yes they are happy to see us, aren't they?" She heared the lunar folk could be stuck up, or rude, but she didn't expect to get glares just for walking down the road. "A shop, I wonder what the sell?" She wondered aloud, pointing to a store which was simply named "General Store."

"I could use a few items to create the familiars, actually, let us see." Ko said, opening the door for her as they entered. The shop keeper was female, though bald, and seemed quite bored as she read a book. The shop was stocked with a seemingly random number of items, nothing seemed to be organized, and there was no price tags to be seen. Ko plucked some small leather backs from a shelf, along with a few bars of metal that were buried in a box. He searched the shop high and low, and found a handful of magical charms and shards, exactly what he needed. Ana was saddened by the lack of foreign alcohols to try, but didn't linger on it.

Ko placed the items on the table the shop keeper was sitting at "How much do you want for these items?" She glanced over them briefly.

"Fifty coins." She sighed, she appeared to be completely, and utterly bored with her job "That or anything interesting you might have." reaching into his pocket, he removed a necklace with a single, completely black stone.

"Fair trade?" He asked she examined it closely, and concluded it was made of obsidian, a volcanic glass in other words. She knew there was no active volcanos near the lunar isles, and knew she could turn a profit on it.

"Yeah, it's a deal." she replied, taking the necklace from him with magic, and he gladly took the items away.

"Where did you obtain that?" Ana asked him on the way out of the shop.

"It somehow got tangled in my hair, we used to make those necklaces often back home, where active fire mountains were common. The same material was useful for making stabbing weapons, too." they continued towards the gate, where a four foot tall rock erupted out of the ground, pulsing ever so slightly every few seconds.

"This is a special type of obelisk, I'm not sure how they were formed, but they possess a special type of energy, we have small amounts of it inside of us, and it gets stronger as our bond with summoned creatures does. Small rocks like this are weak, and barely contain any energy, it's normally not nearly enough to create a creature with, you have to go to larger obelisk for that, or at least... most of the time." He held the items up to the small rock and concentrated hard, the guards looked at him like he was an idiot, there wasn't nearly enough power to create a familiar with one of those.

An elderly woman watched closely as he began to chant softly, the words didn't seem to be in any language she had heard before, what was he doing? Out of the Obelisk a spirit burst free, and he quickly contained it with his leather pouch, he repeated the chant several times, until he had used up all five of his bags. A soft clap emerged from behind them, Ko was sweating, and she instantly noticed.

"Using that trick takes a lot out of you, doesn't it?" The woman asked him with a smile "I've never actually seen an outsider use any technique like that before."

"And what exactly, does that mean to you?" Ko asked defensively, he felt like she was patronizing him.

"Where are my manners..." She said with a shake of her head, "I am Baba Yaga, and I know a few tricks about magic!" She said with a big grin. Anastasia was interested in learning any new magic spells and the such, but Ko somehow felt he could not trust the woman, but she was just an old hapless thing, it couldn't hurt any to learn her 'tricks'.
