“Eventually, me and my friends got bored, and explored outside of the town, less than fifty feet out, we discovered a small entrance, with lanterns shining the way, we discovered a small, natural slope which lead into a huge cave, and we instantly agreed upon what to do with this location.” He paused for a few minutes, to eat some more food, no one pressured him to continue until he was finished. “We spent a week and a half gathering the things we would need, no one asked questions, but we slowly spread the word of what we were doing. We converted the cave into something of a party house, we had smugglers bring in booze, we set up a make shift kitchen, stocked with bags of rice, and fruits.”
“We set up lanterns, we hired musicians, we even busted through the stone floor to make a small, indoor pool. It was expensive, most of the funding came from my savings, while my friends supplied most of the labor. It was a smash hit, but people knew of the club only in whispers, every night, for almost four years, we hosted this club.. it was honestly all some people had to look forward to at the end of the day, with all the oppression and what not. But eventually, a snoopy guard caught word of this club, and they waited until the party had begun, everyone who left was beaten with a club, and taken away for slave work as punishment.”
“They tortured some of the people they captured to learn who the leaders of the club were, they then raided the place, no one escaped, I was captured along with several of my closest friends…” he sighed deeply, and bowed his head, “those poor fools. My father begged and offered money for my freedom, but they insisted I deserved what I had coming to me. I was beaten thoroughly, and then put to work in a coal mine for a year. I plotted, I schemed, but I never had the chance to make a jail break, and further more, where would I run to, stuck on a massive island, completely under the control of hateful tyrants.”
