Though his name does not appear as one of the members of The Amethyst Library, Trey184 was a great citizen of the Story Forum, from the time he first came in the Golden Age of yore to his unfortunately short-lived return that only just ended. As, primarily, a reviewer, he exemplified the tradition of reading and aiding the works of others that has helped so many members become both better authors and people through their time spent here.
He has now, unfortunately, been hit with a bombshell the likes of which few can imagine but all can understand, and is being admitted to hospital tomorrow to begin chemotherapy to treat pancreatic cancer. Modern medicine can do magnificent things, and I have no doubt that it will cure him, in time, but it is not always easy, and the fight may be long.
Trey, know that you left your mark indelibly upon these forums, and I now speak for all members of The Amethyst Library, past, present, and future, in wishing you the speediest and easiest recovery possible. Get well soon, buddy.
