- Playoff Emergency Call-Ups -

No trading is allowed during the playoffs. If there are serious injuries, teams can call up a maximum of 5 players from their home universes to replace the injured players. For example, RuneScape can call up only people that were born in RuneScape. Teams have to apply for special permission from the league to call up more than 5 players.

- Playoff Awards -

- Multiverse Cup -

Awarded to the team that wins the Multiverse Cup Final.

- Multiverse MVP Trophy -

Awarded to the most valuable player of the playoffs. This player is usually on the winning team.

- Eastern Conference Trophy -

Awarded to the team that won the Eastern Conference Final.

- Western Conference Trophy -

Awarded to the team that won the Western Conference Final.

- Draft Lottery -

The 14 teams that did not make the playoffs are eligible to pick up draft picks; players that want to join the league but do not belong to a specific franchise yet. Since approval ratings are taken before each season starts, this lottery does not occur until the beginning of the next season. Some of the 14 teams might not be qualified to join the league next season, in which they are automatically disqualified from the draft lottery. In this case, the new teams that take their places will participate in the lottery.

The draft picks are ranked in order of sports abilities and the chance of getting the top 3 draft picks for the last place team is 20%, for each individual draft pick. For the other teams, it's 2% less per rank up from last place. For the other draft picks, all 14 teams have the equal chance of 7.1% or exactly (100/14) %. The teams can only get 1 draft pick each from this lottery.

Draft picks do not guarantee success, because they are not guaranteed to be good.

RuneScape has a low approval rating because of controversial updates such as the Evolution of Combat. Many people also believe that RuneScape should not be spending money to build a sports team. Fortunately, many other franchises have similar problems so RuneScape is still qualified for this league. Interestingly, RuneScape has the highest disapproval rating among the 30 franchises.

RuneScape does not do well. A terrible start to the season places them in last place. RuneScape attempts to make trades but nothing works. Poor management and poor leadership makes nearly every game a disaster. RuneScape wins its first game in hockey, 2 - 1 in a shootout (shootout score: 1 - 0) with Saradomin scoring the winner against My Little Pony. This comes after a 25-game losing streak in regulation.

Guthix, however, is a different story. His outstanding goaltending and pitching performance quickly became recognized thoroughout the league. He was invited to the All-Star Competition where he won the All-Star Goaltending Award in both hockey and soccer. As it turns out, he is the only player on RuneScape to receive an award in this season.

Guthix of RuneScape finishes the season with a 95% save percentage for his 40 games. Zaros has a 93% save percentage for his 18 games.

This is the only significant statistic for RuneScape in this season. RuneScape tanked most of the season; they intentionally lost games to secure last place for the draft lottery. Many other franchises tried to do this.

There were no major trades before the trade deadline on March 25, 2017. The franchises wanted to either hold onto their players or did not have anything to offer even if they wanted to trade.
