Of course, the immense size of the facility meant that someone could always find solitude if they wanted, and a few reclusive subjects did just that on a regular basis. There were always cameras, but that was a part of life that many just ignored at this point. The facility was always monitored, nearly every move of the subjects inside documented, and now that a group had managed to almost successfully rebel - although how successful they actually had been would depend on who you asked - the monitoring made sense. Still, there were, as always, those that disliked it, and their opinions were both noted and ignored by the executives.
As for where subjects could sleep, it seemed that a great deal of effort has actually been put into making sure they would be comfortable. Each subject had their own room, the entrances to which were aligned along an incredibly long hallway. There were many rooms that were not taken, and one could only assume that they were for future subjects. Each room was furnished with a bed, a desk, and a dresser, although the only real clothing they had was the jumpsuits that everyone wore. Although the rooms were small, everything in them was of extremely good quality, as comfortable as the best rooms in a 5-star hotel, and what the rest of the facility had available made up for the lack of anything else in the rooms themselves.
Currently, it was at the time of morning when everyone that kept to an average schedule was getting up and starting their day. The few that weren’t morning people but were still up for whatever reason walked like zombies through the halls, making their way to the dining area for the coffee that they badly needed. Others walked back and forth from their rooms to the bathrooms, carrying or wearing either a dry or wet towel depending on whether they were coming to or from the showers, and the few that had to do their morning workout before breakfast headed down to the gym or pools on level 7.
Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.
