Once it spoke to him again, the hologram vanished, leaving him to decide which choice he’d rather have.
On Annie’s bed, it continued to monitor her, although it took no further actions. The girl was calming down, and there was no further outbursts of power. There shouldn’t be, either, since the energy required to use it wasn’t something she had anymore - at least not fully - and she wasn’t panicking either, which were the major factors in determining the sudden onrush of power. Besides, she knew she had it now, which made it a lot easier to control.
As of yet, it did not give the Doctor the confirmation that she was ready for discharge. Unlike the other two, it looked as though Annie might need to remain here a bit longer.
Dining Hall
Alison looked somewhat confused for a moment when Red’* expression changed momentarily, but it did*’t take her long to figure out what the problem was. The exact nature of the prank wasn’t clear, but the expressions on the faces of everyone across the hall told her all she needed to know. There had been plenty of that happening to various people ever since the group had gotten large enough that they could do pretty much whatever they wanted - assuming it was minor, since serious infractions would cause issues with the overseers - without much of a repercussion.
If they hadn’t been expecting Red to react, or were surprised by the violent reaction that she took, none of them showed it. Several of the lesser members looked at their bosses with a slightly worried look, but the ones that had facilitated the prank seemed entirely unfazed that the midget with incredible strength was charging at them with a metal bench in hand. In fact, they looked downright derisive of the fact that she was even trying, and looked as though they were instead waiting for something to happen.
Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.
