“NOO!!” Eragna shouted, and casted a spell on the arrow. The arrow exploded in a burst of flames. The Hero withdrew his sword and ran at the archer. Eragna casted another spell and it hit the archer right in the chest. He flew backward into the tent. The Hero put his sword up to his throat, and just to our luck, another archer walked into the tent.

“Sir, I—“ He said. He stood there, staring at the seen. Eragna with his hands raised, ready to cast another spell, and the Hero with his sword against the archer’* neck. It was quite a seen. The other archer yelled and ran out the tent.

“I think now is the time we leave...” Eragna said. We all jumped to our feet and ran out of the tent. The sound of arrows being fired met my ears. I turned around and saw arrows pelting down out of the sky. Eragna turned around and cast a spell upon the arrows. The arrows all burst apart, but moments later more arrows rained down on us.

“Get out!” The Hero screamed. He was standing next to the door, his shield above his head. I prayed to Saradomin to protect me from missiles just as an arrow pierced me in the back. A white shield of light formed around me, and the arrow bounced harmlessly off. I made a silent prayer of thanks, and ran after the others. Eragna turned around once again and cast a spell on the archers. The archers flew away as if they were caught in an enormous hurricane. Eragna cast another spell and the archers on the wall exploded into ice. Their motionless figures stared down at us with menacing eyes. We ran out of the door and into the forest once again.

I turned around one last time to look at the guild. Flames licked the sky as smoke billowed from the walls. I looked at my companions.

“Is everyone Ok?” I asked. They both shook their heads, although they looked very frightened.

“We should move.” The Hero said. “They could come looking for us at any moment.”

“Hes right.” Eragna said. His face betrayed his true feelings though.

“Alright.” I said. Catherby is the closest town, we will head there. 1 day later, we arrived in Catherby. The smell of fish and the sound of the ocean met me as I stepped onto the shore. In front of us was the great White Wolf Mountain, which I knew we would need to cross the next day. We would then go to Falador, and they would help us to Varrok.

“We should get some rest, tomorrow will be a hard day.” Eragna said. I greatfully nodded, and lay down on the sand. A few fishermen looked at us, but none seemed to care. I don’t know how long I slept, but when I awoke, a great rain storm had erupted.

I awoke to the sounds of rain landing on the beach. I turned over and saw the fishermen has left. Eragna and the Hero were beginning to stir as well.

"Great, just what we needed..." Eragna said.

"I know." I said. "We will just have to make the best of it." And with that, we set off toward White Wolf Moutain. It seemed to go on forever. I couldnt even see the top of it. The only way I could tell we were making progress was by how Catherby kept getting smaller and smaller. After about an hour of travel, I looked down and almost slipped. We were very high! Snow splattered against our faces as we made the tough climb.

"We need somewhere to rest, I cant go on much longer!" The Hero yelled over the wind.

"Look!" Eragna yelled. I looked to where he was pointing and I saw about 10 black figures moving toward us in the snow. Suddenly, an arrow flew out of the wall of snow, narroly missing the Hero.

"Zammorak..." I whispered.

Another arrow flew out of the white wall straight at us. Eragna used a protective spell. and the arrow missed by a hair.

"Sing*r Sineesh!" Someone yelled. A bolt of fire exploded in front of us and we were all thrown backwards.

"Zammorak mages, run!" the Hero screamed. I clammbered to my feet and began to run into the snow. I heard the person yell "Sing*r Sineesh!" again, but this time it missed by a lot. Suddenly, Eragna stopped and turned around.

"What are you doing?!?" I yelled after him. But very quietly I heard him reciting the words to an ancient spell. I heard a huge boom and looked up. Directly above us was a white wall of snow.

"AVALANCHE!" the Hero screamed. He grabbed me by the arm and shoved me out of the way. Eragna turned back around and lept out of the way, just as the snow hit the ground inches from where he had been standing. I heard a muffled scream and looked down the moutain. I saw the 10 Zammorakian men falling off the moutain to their death. But then, I saw something that made my heart sink. where the 10 men had landed, stood about 500 others. They all looked as if they were ready for war. I gulped.

"Guys, look at this." I said. Once the two had seen the army, they both grabbed me by the arm and ran with me along the moutain.

"They are closer than I thought." said Eragna. "We must hurry, Varrok is not too far away now."

One day later, we reached the end of the moutain. I had cuts and bruises all over me, but I was more happy than I ever had been. We passed through the Druid's town, and headed toward Falador. I knew there we could get a good night's sleep and some decent food. As we passed through the gates, the two guards who were "guarding" the gates stood up from the ground.

"What bussiness do you have here?" The first one grunted.

"I am the carrier of the last party hat, this is Eragna, and this is a Hero from Ardounge. We would like some food and water, and possibly a place to sleep before going to Varrok.

"Of course, right the way please." We followed the guard through the town center and onto a bridge. The sight infront of me made my mouth drop. The Falador Castle was huge!! I had never seen anything for big in my life! The guard led us through a door, and after climbing many stair cases, we finally reached a room. Inside this room was a throne, and on it sat the king.

The king looked up as we entered through the room.

"My lord, this is the one who carries the party hat, and these are his two friends. They need a place to rest and eat, they have been traveling a long time." the guard said.

"Bless me, is this true? Are you the one carrying the last party hat?" Then king asked. I nodded.

"Please, please, come this way. Once you have rested and eaten, we will talk." I followed the king, and turned around to look at my friends. The Hero had a complextion of concentration, while Eragna had a look on his face like he wanted to say something.

"What is it Eragna?" I asked.

"Well, its that army we saw on the mountain, wouldnt they be most likely to attack here first?"

My heart sank. Eragna was right. We were not safe here either. I cleared my throat,

"Excuse me sir, but we have a small problem..." I said.

The king turned around and looked at me.

"What is it?" he asked.

"On White Wolf Mountain, we saw a huge army, they were heading this way... I think they might attack Falador."\

The king's face turned pale.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes." I answered

"Very well then... Guards! Guards! Alert the soldiers! Have them prepared for war!!" The two guards nodded and ran off down the staircase.

"Now then, tell me what happened." He said, as he sat down on a chair. I recounted all the events leading up to this point, and when I had finished, he nodded.

"Well, it looks like you should be heading off to Varrok as soon as possible. I will send some guards with you to make sure you get there safely." But then, there was a huge crash and people in the city started screaming. I ran to a window and looked out. The army was charging down the path up to the Falador gates. Mages were casting spells at the walls, causing giant boulders of rock to fly off of them. Archers on top of the walls fired down at the army.

"They were closer than I thought." The king said. "Very well, you must get out of here!" He grabbed my arm and we ran down the stairs, the Hero and Eragna right behind us.

When we reached the center of the city, the whole army had gathered there. Many men were trying to hold up the door while the Zammorakian army slammed agianst it. I gulped.

"You will have to fight your way through this boys... I am sorry." The king said. I nodded, and felt Eragna and the Hero surround me on both sides. There was an enormous crash and the gates burst open. Soldiers ran through and slashed at the Faladorian army, the rage of battle burning in their eyes.

Wood splintered as the city gates were forced open. The Faladorian troops braced themselves ffrom the charge. With a deafening crash, the two armies met. Swords flashed as they were brought down upon each other. Eragna stood in front of me and began to ice burst enemy soldiers. I did not want to be left out of the fight, so I ran forward into the battle.

I swung at an unsuspecting soldeir, disconnecting his head from his body. Another soldier ran at me and I raised my sword in front of me. He swung at mt arm and I deflected it with the tip of my sword. I aimed a blow at his leg, and it connected. His knees buckled and he fell to the ground. I stuck my sword into his back and ran on.

Suddenly, I saw the Hero fighting with a huge Zammorakian soldier. I ran forward to help him. I swung my sword at his shoulder, and it hit. The soldier turned around to look at me, as if it had not even hurt him. I gulped. His faces was scarred, and it looked like his right eye was missing. He roared and swung his battle axe down at me. I leaped out of the way as it crashed into the ground where I had been standing moments before.

He ran at me again, but this time I was ready. I leapt to the right and slashed at him. I hit him on his leg, and he groaned in pain. Suddenly, he burst into ice, and fell to the ground. I turned around and saw Eragna looking at me.

"Try to attack someone your own size, huh?" He said before running off. I nodded, and turned to the Hero.

"Are you OK?" I asked.

"Yeah, Im OK." He answered. He clutched at his left arm, and I could tell he was injured. I let down my guard for one momment to see his wound, which was the biggest mistake I had ever made.

As I bent down to look at the Hero's wound, I heard a someone scream a battle cry from right behind me. I turned around just as two arrows went soaring at my chest. I didnt have any time to react. In any momment the pain would crush me and I would die. i closed my eyes, but the pain never came. Slowly I opened them and I saw the Hero laying in front of me, both arrows stuck in his chest.

I immediatly cast a spell upon the two rangers who flew into the air and landed a good 50 feet away. I bent over the Hero and tried to take out the arrows. But he grabbed m arm and pulled it away.

"It was an hononr to serve you, my lord." he said.

"No, dont die! Please dont die!" I shouted at him. But all he did was smile, and he slowly drifted off into Saradomin's hands. This was too overwhelming, and I began to cry. With the war going on around me, nobody seemed to notice. But I suddenly felt someone touch my arm and I looked up. It was Eragna.

"Come, we can do no more for him. We must go." I saw the same pain in his eyes, and he pulled me to my feet. We raced along the path, fighting off enemies as we went.

"Theres only one way to get out of the city without going through the gates. And that is through the Dwarven Mines." Eragna said.

We raced along the path until we came to the entrance to the mines. I slowly lowered myself down into it, Eragna right behind me. We landed in a huge dimly lit cavern. It was deserted. I took out a candel and lit it off one of the lanterns hanging in the cavern.

"I know the way through here, come on." Eragna said. For what seemed like hours, we travled through the mines. Suddenly, I heard a scraping sound. I turned around and withdrew my sword.

"What was that?" I asked.

"I dont know." Eragna said. Suddenly, a huge scorpian leaped out form the darkness and landed on top of me.

"Arrrg***hh!!" I screamed. It must have weighed a ton. I Drew my sword back, and with one clean swipe, I chopped off its head. The body swayed, then fell to the ground. I crawled out from its corpse, shivering.

"Lets hurry ok?" I said to Eragna. "I dont want any more of those on me."

"Yeah, come on." Eragna said.
