Wood splintered as the city gates were forced open. The Faladorian troops braced themselves ffrom the charge. With a deafening crash, the two armies met. Swords flashed as they were brought down upon each other. Eragna stood in front of me and began to ice burst enemy soldiers. I did not want to be left out of the fight, so I ran forward into the battle.
I swung at an unsuspecting soldeir, disconnecting his head from his body. Another soldier ran at me and I raised my sword in front of me. He swung at mt arm and I deflected it with the tip of my sword. I aimed a blow at his leg, and it connected. His knees buckled and he fell to the ground. I stuck my sword into his back and ran on.
Suddenly, I saw the Hero fighting with a huge Zammorakian soldier. I ran forward to help him. I swung my sword at his shoulder, and it hit. The soldier turned around to look at me, as if it had not even hurt him. I gulped. His faces was scarred, and it looked like his right eye was missing. He roared and swung his battle axe down at me. I leaped out of the way as it crashed into the ground where I had been standing moments before.
He ran at me again, but this time I was ready. I leapt to the right and slashed at him. I hit him on his leg, and he groaned in pain. Suddenly, he burst into ice, and fell to the ground. I turned around and saw Eragna looking at me.
"Try to attack someone your own size, huh?" He said before running off. I nodded, and turned to the Hero.
"Are you OK?" I asked.
"Yeah, Im OK." He answered. He clutched at his left arm, and I could tell he was injured. I let down my guard for one momment to see his wound, which was the biggest mistake I had ever made.
