Attire:
When young, she had a taste for fine clothes, but no longer enjoys such luxuries. These days, she wears practical clothing: simple cloth shirts and pants in grey and brown, which give her easy mobility, and a dark cloak and cowl to protect from the elements and prying eyes.
Equipment:
Bow and quiver of arrows kept on her back, dagger at her right hip and in her right boot. All of these are of fine quality, but they have not been produced by the exquisite craftsmanship available to the royal family.
Magic:
Eva has an uncanny knack for finding things. It wasn't until around age 13 that the king's advisors realized that this talent exceeded mortal capabilities and was an expression of her magical aptitude. She can locate objects and creatures, even across great distances. The fidelity of the sense of location is greater when its target is closer to her, whether in familiarity or distance. For instance, she knows exactly where her personal effects are down to the dresser drawer, even if they've been moved from the particular dresser drawer she set them in, but if asked to discover the location of some ancient treasure, she would require some research before she could even begin to sense it, if at all. This capacity often makes her a better tracker than the king's best hunting dogs; give her a sign of the target, and she can find it.
She also can always sense compass directions.
Retinue:
Eva no longer has a retinue, though she had a few confidants in the past, a few of whom may still be in the capital.
Only one of her bodyguards from the expedition, Lord Theren of House Jonelis, is still alive; the other died of natural causes a year or two ago.
She also had a lady in waiting by the name of Lady Sibilla Sommer, from a noble house in Havelan.
What either of them are up to, Eva is unaware, though it wouldn't take her much effort to at least find them.
