“Villagers of Draynor!” Corugi posed on top the very table Diango had used to display his wares. It was an impressive sight, nothing less than we have come to expect from our most glorious leader.
“I, the mighty Corugi, have slain the evil vampire!” He roared and pointed the piece of wood up into the night sky. A crowd was quickly gathering and a few cheers could be heard. One of the more sceptical peasants asked, “Do you have any proof? A stick with blood on it can be used for anything.”
“Yeah! Show us proof!” “Prove it!”
“Al right, I was going to be nice and spare you this horrible sight, but you have left me no choice.” Corugi turned around to pick up something laying on the table behind him.
“Behold! A vampire corpse!” He exclaimed in his most dramatic voice, and held up the dried shell of a vampire.
The crowd cheered and celebrated, and our hero decided to use this moment to claim his rightful reward.
“I know you are grateful for my services, and I know you are poor and don't have anything to offer me. Thus I have decided to take nothing from you, and only claim the evil vampire's belongings as my own!”
The gathered villagers cheered again, and celebrations started soon after. A feast that would make a king jealous was held. The best ales and wines flowed freely and people came from all over the kingdom to join in the celebrations.
Corugi took his rightful place in the manor, and had his boxes of Dragon kites moved to the cellar.
A glorious victory, one only one as great as the mighty Corugi himself could achieve.
