Thanks for getting that done.

Truthfully, I ran out of time. With this hospitalisation and whatnot, I gave myself very little time to finish what I started. Wanting to enter Wintumber as well, I finished (or rather, didn't finish) both at ridiculous hours last night.

EDIT: Ultimately I am happy with what I've done. Two thirds, a second and two first places seem decent enough for me to finish happily.

'Twas fun. I'm annoyed I'm not at the top in the end. How frustrating. Well done though, Aeraie.

EDIT: I haven't been writing at all well this past month. I seem to have hit a wall.

It happens. At least you got your writing out. In that respect, placement doesn't matter.

Edit: I've noticed. I've had moments like that myself. Just relax and your good writing will come back. Trust me. :)

Yeah, in addition to The Anthology II, there's Sadist by Zappo (the original Sadist, from 5+ years ago, got banned because it was inappropriately horrific; it's watered down a bit now, as I understand, to be forum-legal), and then three by the same author, Infinity A8: Fatal Glitch, Agony, and (insert forgotten title here. [You'll find it if you look at Agony or Fatal Glitch.]).

That's what happened to me, Leb - I hit the wall. Kept writing though, because I had an hour to finish it <.<

I should win best procrastinator. I posted that thing 30 seconds before it was too late.

You know, I had a dream about the results of this contest. It was quite strange.

You've got my vote for best procrastinator, Aeraie. :P

I think when one considers the things we were all best at, it has been a hard-fought contest. I like the "Special Awards", by the way. Good luck Leb and Aeraie, win or lose I am honoured to have competed against two great writers.
