and we rushed from behind the corner and ran under the guard tower. As we heard the guard mumble, disappointed, we ran into the city. By the will of Zammorak, we chanced upon some mage cloths hanging out to dry. We put them on, now blending in with the crowd. This meant we could now move around freely.
I whispered, *Ok, now all we have to do is act casual and try to find the throne room.”
Oreo nodded. “It should be somewhere in the central city.” He said. “Mages always like to surround their leaders.” Doodle added.
Yoshi nodded. “Right, so act natural?” Yoshi began to was stiffly and said aloud “Boy, it’s sure good to be a mage! Don’t get to close though; I don’* want to have to use my…er…Powers!” Yoshi raised his hands, and with each sound effect, he thrust his hands forward. “Ptoo! Ptoo! Only with fire coming out. Yaaa don’* want to mess with me!”
Finally Amy dragged Yoshi back so he could stop embarrassing us. I thought he was doing a great job acting casual. That’* what mages usually do, don’t they?
We finally reached the main chamber. I t was large and ordinate, with magical glowing stones surrounding the perimeter, shining all different colors. The building itself was made of aged stone with wooden framing. It was broken down by our standards, but from what I’ve seen in the world so far, this was a formal, highly up kept building. We barged right in, and was surprised to see it was nearly empty; just a man in purple-dark green mage clothing and a few regular mages. “I demand and audience!” I said with authority.
The purple-green mage crossed his arms and looked up. I then realized how old he was. He had to be in his 70’s. people did*’t even live to be that old in my time, let alone this harsh new world.
“Oh? Speak you mind, young mage.” Said the Old mage. I began to chuckle which eventually transformed into a full blown evil laugh. “Bwhahahahaha! Mage, says you? Well, I’m no mage I’m…”
