Don't worry Akak, I made the same mistake three years ago.. Thought the term "kid" was applied correctly then, I'm a vastly different person compared to then when I first posted on here and made an ass of myself.

To be honest, I forget Daefon's bio... if you want you could resubmit it. Also, Akak, if you want to submit a bio, feel free to.

Well, an add is coming, and after that, a really long explanation about the add. Then... I'll either go to the class that I have in 3 hours, and have an exam in on Tuesday (for which I am not prepared) OR I will go to sleep so I am rested for the exam I have in 8 hours. Ah, choice of evils.

Lior paused for a moment in front of a large mirror; it had been a while since he had seen his Blood Brother, and he wanted to make sure that he was looking his best. His gold eyes carefully scanned his reflection, first making certain his white tipped blonde hair was clean and carefully combed, before moving down to his clothes; a white tunic with gold trimming, and matching pants; a suitable outfit for a Warrior Prantiqeth of the House of Light, but perhaps a little formal for meeting with his Blood Brother. Then again, Lior amended, his Blood Brother was often fond of formal dress, and would probably appreciate the gesture.

Satisfied with his appearance, Lior traced his index finger over the sigla on the door in front of him. In response, the door opened, allowing Lior into a finely furnished room filled with books, statues, orbs, flasks, and various magical implements. To a peri (a shortened form of the word “periplekos” which roughly means “the unenlightened”, Prantiqeth use this word to refer to the “unenlightened” races such as humans, dwarves, and elves), this would have likely seemed like a mage’s study. However, Lior was aware that this was his blood brother’s outer room; a room that a Prantiqeth would use for study, and perhaps conversing with friends. However, in addition to an outer room, each Prantiqeth would have an inner room to him or herself (excluding of course, spouses, who shared one inner room) which they would use for sleep, or whenever they wished to be alone. To enter this room, one would need to know the owner’s true name, and speak it while within a certain part of the outer room. Of course, Lior knew his own Blood Brother’s true name, and as such was able to enter the inner room.

Walking over to a violet amaranth at the far end of the outer room, Lior began to hum under his breath. Once he had reached the flower, he began singing elegantly, building up a song in the Prantiqeth tongue that was meant to honor his Blood Brother before finally singing the words that formed his Blood Brother’s name. He could have, of course, gained entry simply by speaking the name in a normal voice; but as Prantiqeth believe that a person’s true name is a reflection of that person’s spirit, to simply speak it for any reason other than one of grave urgency would be a sign of severe disrespect toward that person, and Lior was not about to show such disrespect to his Blood Brother.

As soon as the final word of his Blood Brother’s name was sung, Lior felt tendrils of magic surround him, pulling him into the inner room. To a peri, this would have probably been a terrifying experience, but to a Prantiqeth, especially one bearing the title of Arche-Sophos, such a display of magic was nothing impressive.

A moment after the magic had wrapped around him, Lior found himself in his Blood Brother’s inner room. The inner room was furnished with amaranths of various dark colors, breath-taking sculptures and paintings, and in contrast, various plushies. To a peri it might have seemed very strange to have these sets of items; one being a set of items appealing to a more refined taste, and the other appealing to a childish taste, in the same room. However, as Lior knew that his Blood Brother was a adherent of the Charm Fount and Beauty Fount, this collection made perfect sense.

Lior smiled to himself, and looked toward the center of the room, where a large bed stood. Lying on the bed, his face buried in a book, was Lior’s Blood Brother.

Lior admittedly looked young; a human, would probably have guessed him to be nearing his twentieth year of age, but Lior’s Blood Brother had chosen an ilikia at least three anthropetos younger than Lior. Ironically, he was at least a deketos older (an etos is a Prantiqeth measurement of time; it is roughly equivalent to a Gielinorian year, a deketos is literally understood as “ten etos” which is of course roughly a Gielinorian decade. It might be noted, that due to their longevity, Prantiqeth tend to celebrate birthdays once a hektetos or “hundred etos.”)

Lior looked over his Blood Brother; noting that he was only wearing his atheatos; which consisted of a silver colored shirt and shorts both made of a cotton-like material and bearing Prantiqeth symbols. In contrast to Lior’* white-tipped blonde hair and golden eyes, his Blood Brother bore white hair with deep purple tips, and dark, amethyst colored eyes. Also, as oppose to Lior’s wiry strength, his Blood Brother seemed to have little muscle; of course, this was to be expected of a Prantiqeth Mystic, especially a Mystic of the House of Darkness.

Lior paused for a moment, wondering whether he should remove his forema, lest he appear overdressed. Deciding that he needn’t do such a thing, Lior walked forward, stopping at his Blood Brother’* bed and sitting down. By now, his Blood Brother had closed the book and was staring directly at Lior with a calm expression on his face. Lior broke into a smile and patted his Blood Brother on the head.

“It’s been a while hasn’t it?” asked Lior.

“Too long,” replied his Blood Brother, pretending to pout, “I’ve been bored and lonely since you went off on your latest adventure.”

Lior broke into a large smile, “But,” he said, “You’ve apparently been busy too. I noticed that you sent Aion to help those adventurers near the Reverie. Now why did you do that? You normally hate having Aion deal directly with the peri.”

Lior’s Blood Brother turned slightly crimson, “I wouldn’t have,” he said quickly, “But it was the easiest way to deal with the Zarosians nearby.”

“Oh?” questioned Lior, “Then if I were to go and kill the Guthixian and the elf, you wouldn’t have a problem with it?”

Lior stifled a laugh as his Blood Brother’s eyes widened with worry.

“Just admit it,” said Lior, “For all your complaints, you actually care about the peri don’t you?”

“Of course I do!” exclaimed Lior’s blood brother, “That’s why I complain about them; the peri keep trying to destroy themselves with their blatant ambitions! I mean, have you heard, a group of them are trying to bring back Zaros! Zaros, the Oppressor (a high rank of demon) who nearly enslaved Gielinor all those etos ago. And on the other worlds…”

“You worry too much,” Lior interrupted, “Most humans are basically good, and I know they will stop Zaros’ return.”

“Most humans may be basically good,” conceded the other Prantiqeth, “But, they also are delusional and unable to see what is really good… They rush headfirst to their own destruction and brush aside any criticisms by claiming that others “should not force their beliefs” on them. They ignore or suppress the truth, then act surprised when things go awry.”

“Most at least choose to learn from the gods,” offered Lior.

“Until they advance far enough in science that they feel they no longer need gods; and then cast aside faith and spirituality as “superstitions.”” came the reply.

Lior paused, and replied, “I think that is why Adonai allowed our race to reach enlightenment; so that we can restore the peri’s faith.”

“Do not forget, Lior; out of fear that we may forget that we are not gods and bring upon ourselves divine wrath as did our brethren at Atlantis, Muu, Ys, and Vineta, the Supreme Council shuns the thought of making ourselves known to the peri.”

“Of course, but that has never stopped us before, has it, polyagapimenos?"(a Prantiqeth term of endearment referring to a Blood Sibling)

Lior watched his Blood Brother smile slightly. “Maybe… I will need to work out a plan,” he said, “But… I’ll do it after you leave again. How long can you stay?”

“At least for the rest of the day,” replied Lior, “So, you can relax a bit, and, we can catch up.”

This reply seemed to please Lior's Blood Brother, who sat up and began to ask a barrage of questions.

AUTHOR’S NOTE

Well, seeing as the last add introduced the Prantiqeth (a very complicated race of my own making) I decided to make a short section dealing with the Prantiqeth; hopefully clearing up any confusion the last add caused. (Of course if you still have questions feel free to ask.)

1) Prantiqeth: To have a grasp of the Prantiqeth, I first have to explain what an enlightened race is. Basically, all animals have a body (corporal substance), mind (intelligence), and spirit (life force.) In addition, sentient beings have an immortal soul. Now when all the sentient races were created, they were created in such a way that body, mind, and spirit worked together in perfect harmony, and the soul had complete control of each. While this was the case, sentients had perfect control of their actions, were highly intelligent, could use powerful magic, and had bodies that were practically immune to the harmful effects of poisons, diseases, and aging.

However, the ancestors of each of the three high races, namely the Fey (ancestors of fairies, elfs, etc.) the Tiamites (ancestors of dragonkind), and the Adamites (ancestors of dwarfs, humans, etc.) all managed to damage this harmony. As a result the mind, body, and spirit tend to be in conflict, and thus put the soul in turmoil. The body pushes an individual toward carnal pleasures and survival, the mind pushes an individual to learn and gather knowledge, and the spirit pushes the individual to do good and avoid evil. Furthermore, the more a person obeys the urges of one of these entities, the greater influence that entity has in the future and vice versa.
