Lior paused for a moment in front of a large mirror; it had been a while since he had seen his Blood Brother, and he wanted to make sure that he was looking his best. His gold eyes carefully scanned his reflection, first making certain his white tipped blonde hair was clean and carefully combed, before moving down to his clothes; a white tunic with gold trimming, and matching pants; a suitable outfit for a Warrior Prantiqeth of the House of Light, but perhaps a little formal for meeting with his Blood Brother. Then again, Lior amended, his Blood Brother was often fond of formal dress, and would probably appreciate the gesture.
Satisfied with his appearance, Lior traced his index finger over the sigla on the door in front of him. In response, the door opened, allowing Lior into a finely furnished room filled with books, statues, orbs, flasks, and various magical implements. To a peri (a shortened form of the word “periplekos” which roughly means “the unenlightened”, Prantiqeth use this word to refer to the “unenlightened” races such as humans, dwarves, and elves), this would have likely seemed like a mage’s study. However, Lior was aware that this was his blood brother’s outer room; a room that a Prantiqeth would use for study, and perhaps conversing with friends. However, in addition to an outer room, each Prantiqeth would have an inner room to him or herself (excluding of course, spouses, who shared one inner room) which they would use for sleep, or whenever they wished to be alone. To enter this room, one would need to know the owner’s true name, and speak it while within a certain part of the outer room. Of course, Lior knew his own Blood Brother’s true name, and as such was able to enter the inner room.
"He appears in the Form of a Man with many Countenances; and he hath a Book in his right hand. His Office is to teach all Arts and Sciences unto any; and to declare the Secret Counsel of any one."
