Apologies, it seems I didn't clarify things in my post very well as I knew I probably wouldn't when I was writing it.(I was almost late to school as a result of writing what I did)

To clear things up, I know the line between sides gets crossed a lot, moved quite a bit, and even blurs some. But you have still put it into a more protagonist vs antagonist thing this time. With Aquaregis, Seth, and Selene taking the three major protagonist roles while Caihoc and his accumulated allies seem to have taken the antagonistic role. There is nothing wrong with this, as it happens in almost every story, you cannot really have the story without it. I was just expressing my concerns for it continuing in such a manner, but as you've expressed later the line will disappear and people will just become part of their side where each side is vying for more power. So, everyone may stop commenting about that now, as it was a mistake in clarity.

As for you changing my character's past, it is perfectly fine, you're the writer after all. I'm happy he has a place in the story really. I noticed that he isn't all power and no mind when he tricked Seth, so I have nothing against him.

As for the bio I submitted so long ago, I believe it consisted of a name, a preferred weapon, a race, a side, and my ingame level. At the time I had no idea what a bio truly was, I had never created one before. Your story was the first one I was interested in enough to submit a bio for. I believe I've said before I expected him to be a foot-soldier and to be mercilessly slaughtered very quickly. That bio was actually the first time I had used the name Orcris, and the character you created out of it is the reason I still use the name.

“Will this actually work?” asked Selene, observing what seemed to be a crude catapult made of vines and deadwood.

“Definitely,” said Jayson, “And the ammo is loaded with a mixture that will explode the moment it strikes something hard; without a doubt, it will send the Zarosians running toward us.*

Selene looked at the “ammo”; coconuts, the shells of which had small holes drilled into them. Selene found herself wondering where the Guthixian had managed to find coconuts in this tundra, as she hadn’t seen any on him. After producing them seemingly out of thin air, the Guthixian had poured a strange orange liquid into them; Selene wondered to herself if this liquid would actually explode as the Guthixian predicted. Nonetheless, flying coconuts would alert the Zarosians that something was amiss, and would likely start an all out charge… which meant all that she and Jayson could do is rely on Aion, and hope that the boy knew what he was doing.

Selene turned to the strange boy; he was currently examining the set of ruins in front of them, tracing his finger over certain sigla which covered the ruins. If his plan failed, Selene couldn’t think of a way to get out of this situation alive. ‘Oh well,’ she decided, ‘No sense worrying about it now.’ As she thought this, she noticed the first of the Zarosian troops becoming visible as they marched over a snow bank. The elf glanced back to the crude catapult; Jayson had also noticed and was preparing to fire the first of his “ammo.”

The catapult released with a loud “twang” firing a group of coconuts at the Zarosian troops. As Jayson had predicted, the coconuts exploded on contact, wiping out a good number of the Zarosians. The survivors looked around in a panic; the attack had caught them entirely off guard. This turned out to be a huge mistake on their part; Jayson had already reloaded and quickly fired the next batch, sending another barrage of exploding coconuts into the enemy’s lines. After this attack, the Zarosians had enough sense to begin running before a third barrage could be fired, and began charging straight toward the elf and the Guthixian. In their rage and panic, none of them seemed to notice Aion tracing a final symbol on the ruins.

As the boy finished, the ruins lit up; symbols on their surfaces beginning to burn with blue fire. The Zarosians stopped in their tracks, suddenly realizing they had walked straight into a trap. However, it was too late for them to react, and the blue flames had quickly surrounded them, filling them with a sense of vertigo as the world around them changed. When the flames faded, the Zarosians had only a moment to behold the sight of an apparently endless ocean dotted with icebergs, before they dropped into the frigid sea water beneath them.

Meanwhile, Selene had just breathed a sigh of relief, “It’s over,” she said, “That actually worked.”

“Of course it did,” said Jayson with a smile.

“Yep,* said Sliske, *It will be impossible for them to make it back here from the northern sea, where they were teleported.”

Jayson laughed, “I guess so...* he trailed off as he realized who had just spoken. Both he and Selene turned and blinked, making sure their eyes were not deceiving them. But, much to their horror, they found themselves staring at the mahjarret Sliske, who was now grinning broadly.

“I’m sorry,” said the mahjarret, “Did you think I would fall for something like that? My useless soldiers, maybe, but not me… Although, I must admit, I was surprised that you were able to use Dragon-kin magic. Not that it matters… you’re still going to die.”

“Sorry, but I don’t think we’ll be dying today,” said Jayson, producing a dagger, “You’re welcomed to, though.”

“Oh, how cute,” teased Sliske, “The little Guthixian believes he can match me. Well, I’ll take care of that stupidity!” So saying, Sliske sent a ball of magma hurling at the Guthixian, the ball hit, exploding and throwing the Guthixian back against the snow, and leaving his body covered in severe burns. “Well, that was easy,” said Sliske smugly.

“What was?” asked Jayson, although he was obviously struggling to even breathe.

“Defeating you, of course,” replied Sliske, slightly annoyed at the Guthixian.

Jayson smiled broadly, and small roots broke out from under the snow, working their way up the Guthixian’s body. To Sliske’s and Selene’s shock, the roots seemed to completely heal Jayson’s wounds.

“Sorry,” said Jayson, now standing, “You were saying?”

Before Sliske could regain his composure, Jayson had dashed forward, slamming into the mahjarret and knocking him off balance. However, before the mahjarret had hit the ground, several roots emerged from the snow and stabbed through his body. Sliske hissed and began burning away the roots with black flames. While Sliske was thus preoccupied, Jayson created something similar to the “Claws of Guthix” spell, only several times larger, and obviously more powerful, and sent it slamming into the mahjarret.

Jayson paused for a moment, taking a breath as he waited for the dust to clear. When it finally did so, his eyes widened in shock; there was no sign of Sliske. Jayson spun around and found himself staring at the mahjarret, who now had a ball of lightning crackling in one hand. The mahjarret made a motion obviously meant to send the lightning at Jayson, but was interrupted as Selene’s naginata pierced his back. Frowning, Sliske warped several meters away and turned to face his opponents. Grinning, the mahjarret spread his arms out, in the same way he had done to summon the brothers in back in the temple holding the Winds of Change. However, this time, nothing happened. Sliske’s smile turned to a look of concern as he tried once more to summon the brothers, and was once again met with failure.

“I wouldn’t bother,* said a girl’s voice.

The three warriors turned and found themselves facing what appeared to be a demoness; she looked mostly human, but possessed bat wings, a pointed tail, and small horns which stuck out from her long blond hair.

“The dimensional wall here has been modified,” said the apparent demoness, “It is impossible to teleport anything into this area. I would suggest you leave, mahjarret, you are powerful, but this boy,” here she motioned toward Jayson, “Seems to be your match. On top of that, you can’t possibly hope to beat myself and the elf.”

Sliske muttered something under his breath, then sighed and teleported away.

“Well, that wasn’t difficult,* said the demoness, “Stupid mahjarret always butting into other’s affairs.

“Um, why did you help us?” questioned Jayson, “Shouldn’t a demoness be on Zaros’ side?”

The "demoness" twitched. “I’m sorry,” she said, “What did you call me just now?*

*A demoness,” answered Jayson.

With incredible speed, the “demoness” sent a punch into the Guthixian’s face, sending him flying and shouted, “Listen you pathetic, low life excuse for an anthropos, I am not a demoness, nor do I have anything to do with those pathetic, miserable, arrogant charlatans. I am a Mazoku; a member of the race created by Erebos himself. And if you ever call me a “demoness” again, I swear on the name of Nyx will rip out your intestines and hang you with them. Do I make myself clear?!”

Selene noted with veiled amusement that Jayson had turned several shades paler.

“Yes ma’am,” the Guthixian replied as soon as he had recovered from his shock.

“Good,” said the Mazoku, now apparently calm, “I suppose now we should introduce ourselves, I am Scylla, and you two are?”

“Selene,” offered the elf.

“J-jayson,” stuttered the Guthixian, still clearly unnerved.

“Okay then, Jayson and Selene, since it is a bit nippy out here, would you mind accompanying me to the tower? Once we’re inside you can tell me what brings you out to this frozen land.”

“Wait, the tower?” questioned Selene, “What tower?”

“Why Rhyn Brona’s tower, of course,” replied Scylla.

Selene smiled in relief; finally it seemed she and Jayson had reached their destination.

“Um, just one thing,” said Jayson, “Selene, have you seen Aion?”

The elf suddenly looked around, realizing for the first time that the strange boy wasn’t with them.

“Aion le’Colombe?” asked Scylla.

“You know him?” asked Jayson.

“In a way…” replied Scylla, “He’s sort of an enigma… from what I’ve seen he’s a powerful mage; he has an uncanny knack of showing up wherever he wants. I assure you he’s alright, and if he wants to come to the tower, he’ll be there before we get back.”

Jayson appeared mildly confused, and grasped his amulet as if hoping it would guide him.

“Well, if you have nothing else to ask about,” said Scylla, “We should get to the tower.”

The elf and Guthixian nodded mutely and began following the Mazoku.

Hmm, interesting demonstration of power by Jayson across the battle and I was fairly amused by his adaptability by building this catapult, however when I read vines I was sort of surprised considering their current location, nonetheless after reading further on I understood how it came to be.

Left me with a couple of question wandering inside my mind...

Is Jayson chosen already as the bearer or it's a deep connection at the moment led by the pendant he's gifted with, that allows him to make use of such power?

Who's Aion le'Colombe? Ginko Flask is a great magician, albeit mad and chaotic one (Go, pony, go!), Aion presented himself has having a cool levelled head and great knowledge of past magicks, not surprised at all by Jayson's ability to build a catapult out of seemingly dead branches, is he in connection with a certain Primordial element?

And the one I'm most curious about, the other three races...
