-Well done, Sliske.-
Immediately, the mahjarret's laughter died, and he stared with reverence at the direction of the voice. He soon after detected a presence he knew quite well.
"Lord Zaros," he said, dropping to a knee.
-Once again- Zaros' voice said, -I congratulate you, Aquaregis is dead. And now, there is another task you can perform for me.-
"What is it, my lord?" asked Sliske.
-Our enemies do not know of Aquaregis' death- said Zaros, -And consider him a valuable ally.-
"I like where this is going," said Sliske, "Give me the order, master."
-Very well- agreed Zaros, -Sliske, take Aquaregis' form and subvert the enemy from within!-
"Yes, my lord!" replied Sliske.

A few moments later, all that remained where Sliske and Aquaregis had fought was a charred battlefield and a single, unrecognizable, scorched skeleton. A little ways away, a person who appeared to be Aquaregis headed south, clutching a symbol of Zaros to his chest and smiling maniacally.
"He appears in the Form of a Man with many Countenances; and he hath a Book in his right hand. His Office is to teach all Arts and Sciences unto any; and to declare the Secret Counsel of any one."

There, plot twist! After all, who kills themselves in their own story (and doesn't come back to life later, which I promise, Aquaregis won't.) Incidentally, that should be covered next add...
I've been needing to kill off myself from the story for a while now, as Prefix Three pointed out, I made myself rather powerful. While of course, this was somewhat offset as I was a side character, it still wasn't something I wanted to keep up. I figured at least I would give myself a good sending off (hence the battle between myself and Sliske), but in the end I gave myself a rather gruesome death, huh? Wouldn't want to die like that in rl...
Anyway, in a more philosophical note, if Aquaregis is dead, who's writing this story, a ghost? Sliske? Someone else?
...Just something to think about. (Incidentally, that add took about three hours to write... And I have class at nine, another class at ten, a two hour break, then classes at one, two and three, the last of which there is a quiz in tomorrow... I'm gonna hate myself for staying up this late... well, good night!)
One last thing: Most of Sliske's and Aquaregis' spells reference legend and myth anyone want to try identifying where each one comes from? (I'll give the answers after some people make guesses.)

First to answer what stuff is what, though some is quite simple as you named it.
The Tower of Babel.
The Gates of Hell...maybe...
Fafnir(since you named him)
Siegfried.
The mother of Grendel(does she even have an actual name?)
Thor's Hammer. Mjolnir.
Sleipnir, steed of Odin.
Susano'o Mikoto.
Orochi.
Now for my comments. Those guys weren't powerful at all(sarcasm). Summoning a God, that's nothing to brag about or anything. I mean just oh look here's a god and he's doing my bidding because I summoned him, I detest summoning and conjuring, if you want something done you should do it yourself. The nails I'm not sure about where the reference to them is and the only one I had to look up was Sleipnir, because I couldn't remember the name though I new the steed of Odin part. But they are the second most powerful thing one can summon from hell, how... I mean these people are mortal, perhaps living for a really really long time but still mortal. Then again atleast half the gods in folklore and mythology started that way heh.
Now about killing yourself off, who is Aquaregis? Are not you Sak*taru? This Aquaregis guy, while powerful, was an interesting character and I always wondered about his past. I suppose such a thing could still happen though. And wow the good guys aren't looking to be in such great shape with one of their most powerful agents slain and his form taken to be used against them.
Interesting, I hope your day does not suffer because of staying up and adding. And thanks for continuing the story.

There might not be an add tonight; I've been having a rough week, and on top of that, Kitty (Orcris at least should remember her) double-crossed me for the third consecutive day (after of course, getting me to buy stuff for her.) So right now, I'm exhausted, stressed and irritated... I'll try to calm down in time to make the next add, but it's probably not going to be up soon (I'd check tomorrow morning.) "He appears in the Form of a Man with many Countenances; and he hath a Book in his right hand. His Office is to teach all Arts and Sciences unto any; and to declare the Secret Counsel of any one."

I said there might not be one, and there wasn't. I should be able to get one up this Thursday though. "He appears in the Form of a Man with many Countenances; and he hath a Book in his right hand. His Office is to teach all Arts and Sciences unto any; and to declare the Secret Counsel of any one."

There WILL be an add. Unfortunately, when I got back home from class I took what was meant to be a short nap... and woke up a little bit ago. I'm working on it, and it should be up before tomorrow morning. "He appears in the Form of a Man with many Countenances; and he hath a Book in his right hand. His Office is to teach all Arts and Sciences unto any; and to declare the Secret Counsel of any one."

Seth made his way through a series of winding tunnels, coming at last to a lone, massive structure made of obsidian. There was not a single sound, not even that of an occasional rodent, yet Seth knew was being watched; that one wrong move and he would likely find a poison dart embedded in his flesh. Still, he had his reasons for being in this place, and as urgent as those reasons were, he would not be turned away easily.
Reaching the large door of the building, Seth knocked once lightly and took a step back. He was aware, having been here before, that at least three skilled snipers were hidden in the crevices offered by the building and the cave, and at this moment, had their bows aimed as his vitals.
As he stood a ways from the door, a small slot opened in it, and a concealed figure asked, “Who? What reason?”
Seth gave his real name, as opposed to the pseudonym “Seth” and continued, “Leader of the cult of light, as for my reason… the royal water is no more.”
Seth noted the doorkeeper's eyes widen, right before the slot was shut again. Murmured whispers were audible from the other side of the door, and when they had ceased, Seth heard a myriad of locks being undone. Shortly thereafter, the door opened.
“Come in,” said the doorkeeper, his features obscured by a dark cloak, “I will take you to him.”
Seth silently complied, following the doorkeeper through a large number of twisted corridors in which it would be easy to get lost.
“I had heard that Erebos’ Seal was no more,” commented the doorkeeper, “Is this true?”
“It is,” said Seth, “At least, so far as we can tell. Your commandant placed a powerful trap on it though, and it appears that the Zarosians who activated it have vanished.”
“But now the commandant is dead,” said the doorkeeper.
“Yes,” said Seth, “And worse, it appears Sliske has taken his form. However, he doesn’t know that Aquaregis and Vates were one and the same, as such, I doubt he will come here.”

“Nonetheless, Aquaregis was our most powerful soldier, and our best informed,” commented the door keeper, “His lordship is lacking in raw power, although his skill is unquestionable… Speaking of which, here we are.”
Seth paused to take in the surroundings; barring his way was a massive door with numerous protective seals and locks.
“This goes without saying, I assume,” sighed the doorkeeper, “But I will be leaving once I unlock those locks. Amongst all the people I have met, only the twins, you, and he can survive the sort of things in that room.”
“I understand,” replied Seth, “Please open the door.”
The doorkeeper nodded, and hesitantly began to undo the locks.

Orcris awoke to find himself in a well furnished octagonal room. At seven sides of the room were cushioned armchairs arranged in an almost circular way. On one of these chairs sat a person wearing a wide brimmed violet wizard’s hat, and opulent clothes of the same color.
“Where am I?” Orcris asked the person, “And who are you?”
The person stood, and in a voice of indeterminate gender said, “You are in my house, and I am Amethyst, the witch of fantasy.”
“Witch?” asked Orcris, “So you’re a girl then?”
“No,* replied Amethyst, “Boys may be witches as well, despite what Saradomin would have you believe.”
“I see…” mused Orcris, “Returning to my first question, where is your house?”
“At the space in between dimensions,” replied Amethyst, “I pulled you here as you were being transported by Aquaregis’ last trap.”
“So it was Aquaregis after all?” questioned Orcris, “I’ll have to remember not to underestimate him anymore…”
“That will be unnecessary,” said Amethyst.
“Why?” asked Orcris.
“Take a look,” replied Amethyst, pointing at a basin of water in the center of the room.

Orcris hesitated, but approached the basin and stared into its depths. As he did so, images passed before his eyes. He saw Aquaregis appearing in the wilderness. He saw Sliske confronting Aquaregis; followed by a battle that could only occur between a master mage and a mahjarret, and finally, he saw Aquaregis felled by Sliske’s trick.
“Did that really happen?” asked Orcris, looking away from the basin.
“That’s what I’ve been trying to figure out!” shouted a voice Orcris recognized all too well.
A moment later the room filled with droplets of blood, which converged and disappeared in a flash, leaving Rose in their stead. However Rose had changed her clothes and was now wearing an outfit consisting of a red hat tilted to the side and bearing a rose half its size, a low-cut black blouse with red trim that bore a large red bow at its center, a blood red skirt that made it to her knees and was adorned with a large number of roses, and black boots which entirely covered her shins.
“Ah, Ruby, interesting fashion sense as always,” said Amethyst, “Since you’re here would you like some tea, and any for you Orcris?”
“No thank you,” replied Orcris, pondering why the man who called himself Amethyst had referred to Rose as Ruby.
“As for me,” said Rose, “I’ll have vanilla black tea.”
“Very well,” said Amethyst, who snapped his fingers. Instantly, a flurry of dark violet petals appeared, and as they fell to the ground, they revealed a young man dressed in a butler’s outfit. He appeared normal except that his ears sprouted from the top of his head and were very similar to those of a rabbit.
“You called, sir?” asked the butler, bowing to Amethyst.
“Yes, a cup of vanilla black tea for Lady Ruby, who has just arrived,” replied Amethyst.
The butler bowed again and with a snap of his fingers, summoned a teapot, cup, saucer, and spoon which all floated in the air. As he proceeded to pour Rose a cup of tea, the butler asked, “How many spoonfuls of sugar with your tea?”
