Audley just stared at the soldier in a pause of silence, unable to properly word what he believed of those that fought the gods right now. "...Do as I've told you," he mumbled to him, a sobering message was relayed under his words. With water in his eyes, terrified by the thoughts of those he cared for like family getting slaughtered, he does as he's told.

He rushed off, doing the deed as Audley ordered him to. He headed for the barracks, holding the intentions of his commander. Back within the battle, Balor himself still had yet to arrive into the battle, just very easily walking over to the fray. But he had reached close the gates, seeing the archer whom pointed at Lucia.

He then began running as fast as he could, going at the very fast speed. His armour loudly thunked, the small bells attached to his pauldrons rung, his cape fluttered. Reaching a very high speed, Balor then suddenly leaped upwards. He zoomed up straight as if he were shot from a mortar, feeling the air quickly brush past him as his body sailed towards the white stone gates.

Finally, he reached the height of his jump. He felt a momentary sense of weightlessness, feeling his stomach again. His eyes saw the annihilation of the human guards from above, seeing very few causalities. He then began falling down, but his trip down would not be as far as his trip up. His cape and the bells of his pauldrons stood erect, shaking as he fell.

He landed on the city gates just a moment later, shaking them. He had slightly shattered the stone beneath his feet, a few cracks and some broken stone-tiles where his feet touched down. The large crackle of the stone under him took the archer by surprise, causing him to swiftly spin around to find its source.

He found the point of his arrow aiming for a man with a crown, knowing well who it was. Without doubt, his angry face was able to confirm exactly who it was before him. Immediately, he launched his arrow at the king, a predictable move that Balor had seen coming. The arrow flew forward, looking to Balor's visage.

But the plane would not reach its final destination, crashing at the hands of an explosion. Indeed, that arrow could not reach its target, for another had found it. A rather amused-sounding snicker ruptured from Balor's arrogant face, seeing the tip of the arrow meet him face-to-face. The archer's jaw hung ajar, noticing his arrow in Balor's left hand.

The king pulled the arrow out of his face, keeping his hand up to head-height. "Oh, my apologies," he spoke mockingly, the arrow falling apart in his hand. "Were you hoping that arrow hit me?"

Carried with the archer, his other weapon when his bow failed him: a longsword. Gripped in both of his hands, the blonde-haired archer charged forward. Seeing the king sent his rage and hatred to a boil, pouring out. He let out a furious roar as he spurted for Balor, his eyes wide and wild. The archer swung his blade downwards from above, a move Balor surely saw coming. He blocked that attack, the combined effort of the edge and cross-guard of his sword catching it.

He then delivered a thunderous kick to the archer's stomach, sending him to his knees. He felt like a mirror, completely shattered. The blonde-haired archer wallowed in pain, clenching his mouth as he coughed. From in between his fingers and the sides of his hand, blood had begun to rush out. It was painfully clear that Balor's devastating kick had done some internal damage, but that wasn't enough for him.

Balor swung his sword towards the archer, aiming for the back of his neck. The speed of his strike made the blade almost impossible to see, coming forth to his neck. The blade hit its mark, easily gliding through the archer's flesh. Arbandor had completely and cleanly severed both the young man's head and his hand clenching his mouth, sending them flying.

In his last seconds of consciousness, he saw himself moving into the air, spinning backwards. That's when he saw his vision went black, his life extinguished. His decapitated head found itself to be among the bodies, limbs, and other heads of his fellow comrades, laying lifeless upon the warzone. His forsaken body just flopped over, falling upon his sliced-off hand.

Balor gazed off upon the center of the city, seeing that this battle was entirely finished. The conclusion was paved in the white-stone roads, the corpses of the fallen its bricks. But it was no longer white-stone, but red. The streets ran red with blood, bodily fluids, and bowels. The guts of a few Loyal Knights laid, but the cost was mostly towards the humans.

Thick to their ankles in the pool of the dead, their carcasses the water. No matter where they looked, death followed. There wasn't a single speck of the floor to be found, covered by the victims of war. The stench of death was one to never be forgotten, their faces of pain and absolute terror was one that could go on to haunt their every dream.

And all the Solasúians of the Loyal Knights could do was smile, joyous of the slaughter as they wore the blood of their victims upon their armour. Drakon was delighted by the violence, proud of his actions. Gallows found himself strangely in regret, remorseful as his eyes dredge through the massacre. Shinon's eyes turned away, in disgust of himself due to his actions.

Balor placed Arbandor's tip in the ground, his hands relaxed on the sword's pommel. His sapphire irises scrolled across his largely-intact force, very confident in their success. "Well done," the king graciously commended their effort, every Solasúian giving Balor their ear. "Many of their forces lay now at our feet, but still many more remain. All of whom have taken refuge in their castle, awaiting our arrival."

Balor then hopped into the air, falling from the walls. He landed firmly down upon the ground, finding himself unfazed by the bodies he now stood next to. He turned his men, shuffling his eyes to each of them. "I want you thirty going around the city," he continued to order, pointing his left hand towards those Loyal Knights. "Subdue all of Falador's citizens, take them into your capture. In the process, you may do as you wish to them: burn their houses, break their bones, have some fun with the women. It matters very little, but I say this only once... Do not kill any of them."

The thirty knights stood up straight, clenching their left hands into a fist and putting it to the right side of their chests. "Yes, my king!" they all humbly and respectfully acknowledged, rushing off to do as told.

Balor's gaze then turned to ten others, pointing to them. "You ten will stay here to keep watch of anyone trying to escape us," he commanded, turning to another set of ten. "You ten will do the same at the southern gate."

The twenty other knights ordered by their king repeated the same salute as the others, humbly showing their loyalty to Balor. "Yes, my king!" they echoed the same exact thing, heading to their posts.

Balor looked to ten others, their stance immediately grew still. "You ten will search the area for any humans who actually did manage to escape," Balor told them. "Keep your wits about you, these humans can be quite the tricksters."

They did the salute, just as all other before them. "Yes, my king!" repeating three times upon this night, the knights made their way out of the gates.

So many gone, yet he still possessed a large number of people. A mere dent in the armour of his army, Balor turned to those remaining. "The rest of you, push forward into the castle," the king informed them. "We've yet to finish off the majority of their soldiers, so let us begin."

Every member of the Loyal Knights did their salute to his orders, comprehending them. "Yes, my king!" they all confirmed. Knowing that they could put this to rest, the Loyal Knights were not hesitant to get started. Immediately, their heavily armoured body began rushing forward. Their weapons were ready, they themselves were prepared.

They rushed up the stairs, their feet slamming furiously upon the stone-brink path. Several dozens of them, pushing up. They ran past houses, inside of those houses were the fearful citizens that hid so futilely. They prayed for their lives, prayed that they would not be found. Hearing the door into their house crack up, they so very anxiously held their breath.

Balor, his sister, Gallows, Drakon, and Shinon stormed with them, being in the middle-back of the army. They were just getting to the base of the stairs, their eyes watching the helm of the army get to the top. At the top, they stood now before a short, white-stone bridge. The bridge was about twenty-five feet long, thirteen feet wide.

It had short railing on its edges, very barely high enough to keep you from walking over. The bridge itself resemble a hill, arching upwards. Two large support pillars were below, holding the bridge by its center. The stone in those pillars appeared weakened, weathered by time and the lack of upkeep... or perhaps, it was like that on purpose.

This bridge was the only way into the castle, being that the castle was surrounded by a moat. It sure was a long way down, the water from the top of the bridge. Irregardless, that wasn't something they cared about. The front man then came close to the first step upon the bridge, his eyes seeing the humans that gathered to be butchered.

Balor and Lucia then both suddenly paused just before, hearing a rather strange noises in the midst of the rush. Their eyes looked upwards, seeing something suddenly pop out from the top. It was a pillar completely reminiscent to the ones that supported the bridge, perhaps a spare was made in case one needed to be replaced.

Its size was about ten feet in length, five feet in width. It required many men to push it forward, but they were working it. They stood just above the bridge where the Loyal Knights were flooding, it was perfect. Balor launched his right hand forward, his eyes beaming heavily upon his knights who unknowingly plunged right into their hands. "RETREAT!" Balor yelled at the top of his lungs.

Gallows turned to his men, hearing and seeing for himself the pillar approaching. "Retreat!" he echoed his king.

But it was too late, sounding off hopeless shouts. The pillar was sent from the edge, heading straight for the bridge. They couldn't pick up on it in time, their Solasúian sense telling them only when the pillar came into their presence. All they could was gaze upwards, and run... as fast as they could. But it was in vain, being too far along the bridge to do anything about it.

The pillar came down, crushing several knights under its thumb. It sent a powerful wave thundering across the bridge, it sent stone and smoke flying. In its weakened state, the bridge could not support itself. It simply just submitted, collapsing into the moat. Thick and thin stone hit the water, causing a large splatter of water crashing.

The water rained down upon the people on ground, covering them somewhat. The scene settled down, revealing the entire bridge's body had fallen into the water. The knights at the front slowly stepped over to look down if anyone might have lived, and then they're taken back. Gallows and Drakon looked away, repulsed.

Shinon looked down, smirking and chuckling to himself as though they got what they deserved. Balor and Lucia push through the knights that were just staring downwards into the moat, wanting to see for themselves the damage. What they saw was horrible, absolutely sickening. What they saw were their men who may have survived that pillar did not survive what laid below.

A forest of spears stuck out several feet from the surface of the water, spears made from the adamas that the humans picked off from the city walls. The Loyal Knights were stabbed, all of them pierced. Pierced in the chest if they were lucky, some of them through the abdomen, or just a few other limbs. They squirmed around in absolute agony, struggling to rip out from the sharp grasp.

It was a mixed howling of screams and cries, some literally begging for death. Those who took the spear to the gut tried to scream, but their voices could barely be heard under the gurgling of their own blood. Their blood flowed down their bodies and the spears that killed them, the water a bath of red. Their bodies dangled with open arms, limp and lifeless as they were.

The siblings stared down in utter terror, hearing the laughter of the humans that pushed the pillar down. The two then looked at each other, thinking the exact same thing. Their disgust turned in indignation, a need to avenge their fallen brethren. Their faces tightened up, their rancor so very apparent. They both had this presence about them, enraged like a beast.

Shooting daggers at them, Balor and his sister began walking backwards. After taking a few steps back, the two then pushed forward. Their bodies went into a sprint, jolting off as fast as they could towards the edge. The siblings passed everyone almost like a blur, breezing by them with the wind. Once they was close enough to the edge, they flung their bodies into the air.

They leaped into the air side-by-side, flying above the gap between their army and the humans. Below the siblings was the death that the humans found to be so hilarious, the people whom they laughed at. Balor couldn't accept them doing such a thing... He was going to do everything in their power to make them suffer the same fate. Lucia felt the same as well, her eyes not letting go of what was below her.

They easily cleared the moat, landing firmly on the other side. The two then stepped off into the courtyard, eyes gazing upon the large hostile forces before them. Audley was in the heart of them, pointing his right index finger at the two. "To arms, to arms!" he shouted the command. The soldiers then burst forward, readying their weapons for the fight.

The king and queen collided with the soldiers, completely surrounded. On the other side of the gap, Gallows turned to the remaining portion of the knights. "Do as they did," he ordered. "Hurry, we must protect them!" Without a moment of doubt, the knights did as asked of them. They began charging forward, propelling their bodies into the air to get over the moat.

Their reinforcements came, cutting through the human soldiers in their way. Lucia and Balor stood close, staring down the humans. A soldier charged, lunging his shortsword forward towards Lucia. She stepped off to her right, dodging her enemy's attack. Another enemy came in from behind, ready to attack her.

But Balor wasn't having it upon his watch, jumping in front of the attack and putting his blade up to meet his. Lucia knew her brother would come, not even bothering to focus on the soldier from behind. Instead, her blade slashed across the enemy's throat, sending blood showering all over the place.

The soldier before Balor came at him with a strike, crossing from his center left to his center right. Balor swung his blade at the soldier's blade, deflecting it away. The king then lunged his right foot forward, shooting for the soldier's right knee like a torpedo. Balor's kick slammed into the front of the soldier's knee, bringing him to an intense pain.

His knee was bent in the opposite way, bending towards the back. The sound of a gross, sickening snap and pop head off into the air, leaving an unfathomable disgust in anyone's stomach. The soldier dropped, feeling the intense pain of his broken bone. Balor then swung his blade downwards, Arbandor slicing into the left side of the man's neck.

The king quickly pulled out his blade, then lunging his left hand forward. His hand tapped the soldier in his face, pushing him down to the ground. From behind Balor, yet another. He charged forward, about to swing his sword down upon him. To the soldier's surprise, a sword located him. A blade sliced across the arm he raised to attack the king, cutting it off.

The soldier moaned in pain, seeing his blood and arm flying off to the front of him. His jaw hung open, his eyes pulled back into his skull. His eyes then turned off to his right, seeing the queen. He knew well who she was, in disbelief of her betrayal of those who welcomed her with open arms. The two stared, not trading any words.

Lucia had enough, the tip of her blade suddenly sprung forward. It aimed solely for his throat, quickly shoveling into it. Her blade, Eshenel, burrowed a long, clean hole into his throat. It went straight through his windpipe, and out the backside. She swiftly pulled her blade out, going to the next down the line.

Most of the Loyal Knights had finally arrived over the moat, coming to the aid of the king and queen. The courtyard was packed wall-to-wall with people, the chaos crammed this small space like a bag filled by a pack-rat. They swung their swords at the humans, and immediately knew that this fight wasn't going to be as easy as the last. But nevertheless, they felt their victory assured.

Gallows and Shinon were still on the other side, just now watching Drakon make the jump. Shinon shrugged his shoulders. "Looks like I'm out," he stated, not being too upset about it. Gallows sighed, stepping close to Shinon. The archer raised his eyebrows, wondering what the general was up to. "What're you doing?"

"Pardon me," the general returned, lifting Shinon up off of his feet. The archer then ascended, Gallows had lifted him over his shoulders. The scar-faced man then began to bolt forward, Shinon's body shaking up and down as the general sprinted. They leaped into the air, flying over the moat. Shinon felt a moment of weightlessness, feeling his stomach go up to his spine.

Gallows cleared the gap with ease, solidly landing upon his feet. He then knelt down, letting Shinon get up of his own accord. Shinon sighed, putting his hands to his hips. "Don't ever do that again," he said to Gallows, shaking his head in disapproval. The two rushed in, readying themselves for a fight.
