Divus smiled. "You too," he replied, concern still an acute factor in his voice. Raphael opened the door, stepping forth into the next room and closing the door behind him. Raphael stood outside the door, his trembling left hand slowly reached up to his chest. He placed his left palm onto the center of his chest, just in front of his heart. He felt the quick pounding that felt like a jackhammer.

Raphael began to walk himself home. Ten minutes passed and Raphael was just outside the majorelle blue crystal gates into the Imperial Palace. Raphael seemed to get a grip on himself a bit more with each minute. Though he still felt very uneasy as he began walking towards the dead silent mark district.

The gray sky cried sorrow, silently pouring tears down onto the face of the earth. These droplets crashed onto the silver hair of Raphael, rolling down his face. The rain was a heavy downpour, steadily falling from the gray ceiling. Not a soul ventured out into the cold, damp day. Not even the knights. Raphael was the only soul in the market district

He slowly made his way into the quiet that caped the world. It was an eerie silence, yet strangely peaceful. The chilling air bit all across his bare, pale skin as he continued to walk passed empty stalls with blankets covered on top of them. Windows from building to his left and right peered a dim light out towards the colorless afternoon.

His face gazed upon the stone brinks that lined up as a pathway. His purple eyes lost in a nightmare of thought. As his feet smashed into puddle after puddle, a small rupture of voices broke through the troubling silence and caught his ear. Raphael's head was attracted to the source of the sound, reeling his head back up. His eyes stared down three people walking out of a building.

The three people were all wearing hoods over their heads so Raphael couldn't make out their faces. One was a tall man, another was an average sized female and the last one was about the size of a child. Standing inside the building was another man who looked older. He was bald and had a long snow white beard. He appeared to be about the age of seventy-five.

Much like the other man, the old man was wearing a black single cassock. It reached down to his ankles and its sleeves were long. The end of his sleeves had silk frills. He wore white slacks and long leather boots. The old man stood in between the doorframe and the door which was to his right. His dark green irises look upon the face of the older man.

A leather bag half the size of the average trash bag was clenched tightly in his right hand. Inside the bag were supplies that would belong in a first-aid kit. The old man extended his right hand out to the other man, holding the bag out towards him. "Here you are," he casually said. "This bag carries exactly everything you ordered for."

The man wrapped his left hand around the handle of the bag. His fingers embraced the leather and glued onto it tightly. The old man let go of the bag and rested his arm loosely to his side. "Thank you, Ralph," the man calmly thanked.

Ralph scrolled his eyes from the man to the woman to the child. His vision returned to the man with the bag. "Do be careful Master Malik... Elena, Uriel," he softly whispered, flipping his eyes to each of them as he called their name. "If they find the slightest trace of your presence here, they will kill you for sure."

"We are aware," stated Malik, his voice maintained normal volume. "But our presence here is for a limited time. We'll be heading back within three days."

The old man shook his head. "Very good," Ralph said, latching his right hand onto the doorknob. "You know where to find me in case you need anything."

Malik shook his head. "Take care," he said. Ralph pulled the door in, closing it shut. The wooden door closed and a soft click jumps into the air. The three turned to their left, their faces looked away from Raphael who was stuck frozen like a rock. They began walking away from Raphael, moving towards the middle of the wide pathway.

His legs were no longer under his control, they were glued to the stone pathway. His mouth hung open and his eyes were slightly widened. He looked at the backs of the three strangers as they walked further and further from him. But as Raphael's eyes gazed into detail, he noticed that the woman seemed to be carrying a sword held in a leather sheath which was strapped to her left hip.

The sword was hard to see as it was mostly hidden underneath her teal blue leather coat. But Raphael's skilled eye saw it, leaving his mind to rush with shock at this revelation. " She's carrying a sword, " he thought to himself. " Only soldiers on duty, members of the council, and members of the royal family can carry weapons. Which means... "

Just before he uttered the finishing touches to his sentence, he let out a gasp flooded with shock out into the open air. His gasp was muttered greatly by the sound of the pouring rain. But the ears of the woman caught the small ball of sound. She turned her head around to look behind her as her feet still continued walking.

Her pale blue eyes faced his purple eyes. She saw the face of Raphael, his wet silver hair and his pale skin. He saw her face too, her hidden jet-black hair and her pale skin. The world seemed to play in slow-motion to the two. They looked at each other from the distance but it was as if the two were in front of each other talking to one another. Only the words were done in complete silence.

Raphael gulped saliva down his esophagus. " ...She must be a member of the Lumbridge Resistance...! " he silently stated to himself. " And if she's with those two then they all must be with the Resistance. "

The woman noticed Raphael's sword strapped to his waist. She quickly flipped her head back to focus on the path in front of her just as she noticed his sword. She tightly clenched her hands into tightly knitted fists. "By the looks of him, " she thought to herself. " He must be a member of the Ruler's Counsel. "

Raphael's eyes widened. " This must mean that the Lumbridge Resistance has secretly infiltrated Governanti! " he silently believed to himself. He turned his body around, facing the way back to the kingdom. " I've got to inform His Majesty! " He began sprinting back to the Imperial Palace as fast as he could.

The woman gritted her teeth. " I have to stop him, " she stated to herself with alarm. Her body then shot forward, attempting to catch him. But a hand reached out and grasped her shoulder, halting her haste. She turned backwards, gazing upon the arm that sprung from Malik's shoulder.

"Let him go, Elena," he commanded. Elena could only wonder about the command, worried that she and her allies might be exposed.

Raphael's feet splashed into many puddles, spearing water to crash all over. He panted air in and out heavily, running at his fullest speed. The hard steps were like a whisper under the thumb of the sound of the heavy downpour. The droplets darted at Raphael's face, poking his exposed skin like icy cold shards of glass.

His heart pounded in his chest, his breath almost never kept. He ran from the center of the market district to the front gates into the Imperial Palace within minutes. Raphael blew open the gates into the Imperial Palace, charging for the door. He lunged his hands forward at the large mahogany wood double gilded doors.

He entered the main room, the red gilded carpet became a sponge as Raphael was pouring droplets of water. He stood in place, his back in the face of the door. His back was hunched over and his hands were reaching down to his knees. Waters dripped down from his clothing, slithering down to the carpet.

His silver hair looked more gray as it cried tears. Raphael exhaustively breathed, inhaling and exhaling just as much as he blinked. His dead upper body is revived, blooming back up straight. Just ten feet before him was a tall, elegant looking stairs thats railing was made of that majorelle blue crystal-like material.

The railing looked like a pair of paper wings. Raphael began darting towards the stairs, running up them as fast as he could. Without the grip of the railing, he hopped up the stairs higher than a frog. As he ran up, that uneasy feeling he had experience before was crawling back up. He pushed through and finally made up to the fifth floor.

Raphael began running down the hallway, passed all the majorelle blue banners with a golden lion that hung up on the wall. His feet smacked the majorelle blue carpet. As Raphael bolted down the narrow hallway, he passed several Loyal Knights of the Royal Family who didn't seem concerned whatsoever as to why a human was running down the fifth floor hallway.

Regardless, Raphael left his concerns aside and continued to run down the hallway. Within a half of a minute, Raphael got to the end of the hallway. But no guards stood anywhere beside it. Raphael faced just a foot from the door into the king's bedroom. But as he reached his left hand towards the door handle, he heard a voice from within. It sounded like the king.

As Raphael's ear became attracted to the sound, he began to hear another voice from within. It sounded like the prince, Balor. He began to listen to the conversation. Inside, Divus was sitting at a majorelle blue crystal table, his chair made of the same material but it is cushioned by a red pillow.

His elbows were on top of the table and arching up towards his face. The king's hands were folded together and pressing against his upper lip. His eyes gazed upon Balor intensely. Balor was on his feet, his sapphire blue irises stared down his father with anger and dislike.

His arms were crossed and he seemed very impatient. His left foot tapped against the floor like a drum solo. "Have you any idea how incredibly moronic it is to let one of them run our kingdom?" Balor angrily questioned.

King Divus closed his eyes, inhaling air deep into his lungs and exhaled out through his nose. The sound of his exhaled breath sounded irritated. "You do not understand anything at all, child," furiously stated the king.

A smile buckled on Balor's face, the sound of an amused chuckle blew out from under his lips. "Do you honestly hear yourself?" he quickly questioned. Suddenly, Balor appeared just beside the king. He grabbed the collar of Divus' houppelande and pulled him up off of the chair. Divus struggled to get out of his son's grip but it was all in vain.

Balor lunged his arms forward with all of his might and let go of the king's collar. Divus was sent hurling backwards at thirty-miles-per-hour. As he flew, his crown slipped off of his head. His back hammered against the white marble wall with incredible force, his head whiplashed against the stone. The impact rocked the wall, sending a shock-wave through it.

Divus slowly fell to the ground, hitting the floor hard on his front. Just about the time his body hit the floor, his crown mimicked his same motion. It fell down onto the carpet with a soft thud. Divus groaned in an extreme pain, tightly clawing the floor. His face was an complete agonized grimace. The back of his head began to bleed profusely.

He laid on the ground and could not even summon the strength to get to his knees. Outside of the room, the silver haired young man heard the moaning of his king. And he became very angry, almost enraged. His hands began to clench tightly. " What the hell is going on in there!? " he angrily questioned to himself.

Balor slowly walked over to his father. He stared down at the pain gripped king, a relaxed expression held the face of the prince. "I "do not understand anything at all"?" he calmly quoted. "How vastly incorrect. The truth is, Divus... you can't have an inferior being ruling over a superior one."

Divus had just enough strength to pull his head up at Balor. His eyes glared an acute infuriation up at his son. "You are as blind as you are ignorant!" he yelled, his voice controlled by agony. "And if you cannot see how then you are truly lost...!"

At the painful side of his father, Balor knelt down beside him. His left knee and entire lower leg with the bottom of his right foot was planted into the ground. A smile sparked on his face as his glowing sapphire blue irises looked down at his troubled father. "Oh, poor father," he pitied. "What you don't realize is that it is you who is truly ignorant."

Divus looked up at Balor, his teeth grit tightly. "What...?"

A serious yet amused look appeared on Balor's face. Balor stood up to his feet but kept his face looking down onto his agonized father, putting his left foot onto his father's head, pressing his weight down on his father's head. Divus growled out in pain, literally feeling his head being crushed. "Brother and mother," Balor explained. "Did you ever wonder how they died?"

Divus' eyes glared upward, knowing exactly what his son was to confess. "I knew it," he angrily stated. "I knew it this whole time...!"

Balor turned his eyes to the door. "And I'm sure you'd like to know just how exactly your father died!" he shouted. "Wouldn't you, Raphael?!"

Raphael heard Balor call out to him. His hand clenched tightly onto the golden door handle. His thoughts switched to open the door to not open the door. Divus heard exactly what was going on and ceased his agony for just one minute. "Do not come in here!!" he yelled with all of his strength.

Balor raised his right hand up to his shoulder, his hand grabbed onto the handle of his sword. He began to pull the blade out of its sheath. His eyes remained focused on the door that hid Raphael. "Here's a spoiler," he said to the silver haired human. "I hired an assassin to kill him!"

Raphael's face looked like his very breath had been taken from him. His eyes were widened and his jaw hung ajar. He faced the fact that he had been around the man who played a part in his father's death this whole time. His shock and disbelief quickly melted like chocolate on a summer day. It reformed into a flare of great indignation.

He pushed his left hand straight at the door, blasting it open. The door swung open, revealing the bedroom to Raphael. An iniquitous grin whipped onto Balor's face just as his eyes gazed at an opened door. Raphael walked into the room and his purple irises glared heavily upon the prince. He saw exactly what the prince was doing to his father. Raphael's left hand firmly clenched onto the handle of his father's blade and he pulled it out.

The door closed shut behind Raphael as Balor and him stood at opposite sides of the room. A fiery flood of fury filled the apple of his eyes. "R-release him!!" he angrily stuttered. Balor looked at Raphael without any kind of response as he continued to press his boot against the side of Divus' head. He just stared with the same amused look on his face. Raphael continued to glare at Balor, getting madder by the second. "I-I said release him!!"

After a minute of the standoff, Balor finally pulled his foot off of his father's head. It sat beside his other foot. Balor turned his entire body towards Raphael, his sword held loosely in his hand. Raphael's anger was still very much there. "Why did you kill my father and the queen and your brother?!" Raphael quickly asked, his anger boiling at the surface.

Balor's eyes quickly flipped down at his father and his sword followed. Balor's sword dived towards Divus' head like a falling icicle. His sword impaled the center right side of Divus' head, literally cutting it in half. The sliced half fell onto the ground as blood began to pour onto the floor.

Raphael realized what had happened, unable to stop it from happening. His eyes began to water, his body shaking like a leaf. Balor pulled his sword up to about shoulder length. He smiled diabolically as a devilish laughter whispered from under his lips. "Because they got in my way," the prince answered.

Raphael once again became angered. Only this time, there's nothing holding his fury back. Raphael began charging towards the table at full speed. Raphael hopped on top of the crystal table and jumped off of it. His body began flying towards Balor. He slashed his sword down at Balor who easily guarded his attack.

"Heh heh heh," he laughed. "How foolhardy, challenging me to a battle."

Raphael's blade began to quiver. "I'm not going to sit here and let you get away with this!" the young man replied.

"Please," said Balor. "you stand no chance!" Raphael jumped away from the prince. Balor pursued Raphael, charging towards him. Raphael landed on his feet and readied himself for Balor's assault. Balor came in with a swift swing of his sword. Raphael quickly hopped to his left, dodging Balor's attack.

Balor easily predicted Raphael's actions. "Weak!" he taunted as he catapulted the back of his fist at Raphael's face. The back of his hand smacked Raphael's lower lip, stunning him. A small bit of blood poured from Raphael's lower lip, dripping onto the floor. Balor lunged his right leg with all of his might towards Raphael as he was stunned.

Raphael recovered himself and quickly jumped to dodge Balor's kick. His kick just barely missed Raphael. The silver haired young man landed firmly on his feet, readying himself again. Raphael swung his blade down at Balor who threw his free hand towards the blade. With just the palm of his hand, Balor stopped Raphael's attack in its tracks.

Raphael seemed stunned at this event, knowing now that he can easily be killed. Balor lunged his blade to get the kill. Raphael quickly lets go of Falcon and jumped backward. This last second action spares his life and the blade still partly impales him about a half an inch deep into the right side of his abdomen. Impaled by the blade, Raphael jumped back more to be released from the blade.

He landed on his feet, clenching tightly onto his now open wound. His teeth grit together as blood began pouring out from his wound. It dripped down onto the marble floor. Balor, with a serious look on his face, threw Raphael's sword over by the window. He never looked away from Raphael as he does.

Raphael scrolled his eyes to his right where his sword was. Raphael began sprinting as fast as he could over to his blade. Balor noticed his sprint and ran to counter him. Raphael dove his body forward to grab his sword. His body hit the ground and his left hand latched onto the handle of his sword.
