He got up to his feet with his sword in hand. He stood beside the glass face of the window, the rain shower that poured heavily upon the earth became an all-out thunderstorm. The thunder hammered the earth as swords of lightning had their own fight. Raphael quickly refocuses himself back onto the fight.
Once he turns his head towards his left, Balor was right in front of Raphael and already launching a kick aiming for Raphael's stomach. Raphael's eyes widened once he feels the wave of energy channel all throughout his body. Then he feels his feet launched off of the ground as his body flew off the ground like a bullet.
Then he felt the shards of glass cut him as he watched them dance all around him. He heard the shatter of an army of glass as Balor seemed to get further and further away. His eyes looked into Balor's remorseless eyes. Raphael's thoughts ran empty, without a clue what to think. Then he feels the millions of water droplets crash onto his flying body. His ears caught the explosive boom of the thunder.
Then he felt his body fall instead of flying straight. His vision caught the dark gray clouds as the rain hit his face in hundreds of different ways. His body fell further and further down towards the ground like an angel who just lost their wings. As he fell, his eyes gaze upon Balor who continued to stare down at him.
Raphael joined the rain as they made their descendant to the face of the earth. His heart raced in his chest, an utter disbelief sent in. Then finally... a thought came to his mind. "
Is this the end?
" Raphael questioned himself. "
Am I...going to die?
" He had only a matter of time before his answer was delivered to him.

It was a slow, silent time for Raphael as he made his fall. He knew for a fact that if he somehow managed to live, his life would be a living hell and he'd eventually get executed for his actions against Balor. No matter what, he knew he was damned if he did and damned if he didn't. His vision watched the blood pour out from his body from his injuries.
As the shattered window became smaller and smaller to Raphael, his thoughts came into an explosion. "
No...
" he said to himself. "
I don't want to end here...
" All around him, the shattered glass continued to dance with him. Then finally, he felt the thunderous crash of his body against the solid grass ground. His body literally felt like the shattered window.
The extreme pain hammered all across his body. His entire body whiplashed against the ground, he looked like a fish out of water. Finally, his body came to rest. Broken. Destroyed. Within the incredible pain he was in, not a single bit of his body would move. Not even his thoughts. He laid there like a cross upside down.
His fading vision looked up at the dark gray cumulonimbus clouds, feeling the pounding of the rain. But with each drop that hit him, it felt like he got number and number. Back up to the fifth floor, Balor still looked down from the shattered window. The door into this very room suddenly opened up, several Loyal Knights of the Royal Family pour into the room.
They were all wielding their swords, shuffling their heads all over the place. "Lord Balor," said one of the knights.
Balor sheathed his blade back in its sheath strapped to his back. "You all certainly took your time..." he angrily growled.
"Well, we heard a lot of commotion so we—" His voice froze once he saw the lifeless body of the king. Whimpers of fear began to whisper out from some of them. Each of them was shocked. The rattling of armour was also heard. "H-His Majesty..." one of them stuttered. "H-how?!"

Balor turned his entire body around to face the knights. He crossed his arms like a pretzel. "He was assassinated by Raphael Béla," he stated, lying through his teeth. "He also attempted to do away with me as well. How foolish of him, biting off more than he could chew."
"B-but he was a member of Ruler's Counsel," muttered one of the knights.
Balor raised his left eyebrow. "Not to mention a human," Balor returned. "A member of the Resistance, as it seemed."
The knight that just spoke bowed his upper body to Balor. "You're right, my lord," he agreed. "Forgive my incompetence."
Balor looked at that very same knight. "Forget it," he replied. "Place the city under lockdown and search the place. I'm confident there are more of them roaming about."
They all stand perfectly straight, clenching their left hands into fists and placing it in the center of their chest. "Yes, sir!" they all acknowledged. They all ran out of the room.
Balor closed his eyes and grew a smile on his face. "
Yes,
" he thought to himself. "
one step closer now.
"
As Raphael no longer felt the pain of his injuries, his body was frigid cold. But as his hope began to dissipate, he began to hear the sound of footsteps entering the grass. His blurry vision sees a man standing above him. His face seemed like a familiar blur. "I won't let you die," spoke the blurry man. "I can't."
The voice of the man was truly a dead-ringer, one Raphael had not heard in a long time. "Ma...lik...?" he very weakly spoke. Just after he uttered that name, he could no longer stay conscious. His vision then went black.

Eh, I think the relief will be temporary at best. It may bring down the amount by a significant margin but that'll only come back. But I've never been the one to believe much from Jagex. All we can really do is wait and see. o:

"
I woke up to each day, hoping for something,
" thought the familiar voice, it echoed across a black plain of silence. "
Change, a taste of something that would break the endless chain. Whether it was my mother walking back into my life or perhaps seeing my father actually live for once... it was something that kept me going...
"
Inside the battered shack just outside the Imperial City of Governanti, an older man peered his purple irises out towards the cold, frostbitten land outside of his home. Snow conquered all inches of the land, nothing was spared. There were hills and hills of snow as far as the eye could see. And even more flakes of white gracefully fell from the sky like frozen invaders from a foreign country.
The sky was as gray as a wolf's fur and the gelid air could freeze even the warmest heart with a single touch of its finger. Hidden in the battered and broken wooden shack, the older man stood facing the partly broken window. His hair was a dark gray and it was long, reaching down to his upper back. It was tied in a braided ponytail.
He wore a dark gray beard on his face, which covered his jaw and chin entirely. His face was clenched by many wrinkles, including crow's feet and frown lines. And he had a scar going from the right side of his forehead all the down to the keep of his beard. His skin was quite pale. For his shirt, he wore a white poet shirt that was close-necked.
On his left ring finger, he wore two rings which were on top of each other. The top ring was made of silver and had a small dragonstone in the center of it. The bottom ring was made entirely of dragonstone. He wore dark brown slacks and dark brown leather boots which reached just below his knees.

His eyes gazed without rest out into the cold lands with hope. His hands relaxed and calm as his heart softly pounded in his chest. Just behind the man was a boy around the age of nine. He had short silver hair and his eyes were purple. He wore a white silk frilled shirt with a dark gray leather jerkins on top.
For his lower body, he wore dark gray tight fitting slacks which reached down to about his mid-calf. For the rest of his leg, he wore dark gray leather buskins which reached up to just where his slacks ended. The boy's disheartened eyes gazed at the back of the older man as he sat in silence on the surface of a cold, ragged bed.
The world around him was silent, only the whispers of breath took to the air. The warm breath tackled the frosty air and appeared like a fog. Just like the reticent world around him, the boy's mind was without a sound. He could only hope to just sit there and watch the man in front of him. Maybe something will change, maybe not.
He blinked twice, his fingers softly tapping on the cotton surface of his bed. "Dad," quietly asked the boy.
The older man didn't even turn to face his son, his eyes were glued to the face of the glass. "What is it, Raphael?" he responded
Raphael's head began to lower down to the floorboards like a bridge. "Is mom ever going to come back?" questioned the young child.
Markus closed his eyes and his head bows to the window. His loose hands then tightened up into fists. "I wish I knew, son..." he answered. After his father's reply, little Raphael laid down on his bed. He curled up into a ball with his face pressing against his knees. His arms embraced his calves. His eyes were down and his face melted into a mask of dismay.

His body froze on the surface of the chilling bed. But there was nothing he could do. "
The truth is
," spoken again by the familiar voice. "
I was and forever will be living on false hope.
" His memory of that day began to disappear in a great blur. It vanished from life to complete and utter darkness...
A long, endless black engulfed his mind. He frantically shuffled his body towards every inch of the world around him, hoping to figure out exactly where he was. "
Is this...
" he mumbled to himself. "
...Death?
" Just as he uttered that word, he suddenly felt the rush of his life flashing all across the world around him. The images reflected off of the surface of his purple irises. His body stood still like a statue.
The speed of the images came faster than he could blink. His heart pounded heavily in his chest, his eyes widened so greatly. He shook his head all over the place, looking at the image that his eyes simply could not get a grip on. "
What is this!?
" he yelled out. Just as he spoke, the images stopped coming in. And now he was left in the darkness.
He could only picture questions of his life that he believed could never be answered. As he stood in the everlasting abyss all by his lonesome, he couldn't help but to feel utterly discouraged. For once in his life, he wasn't clinging to some false sense of hope. He knew for a fact that his life was at an end.
He was alone, without any help, he stood in the darkness that swallowed him. Only he himself could untangle the truths from the lies. Raphael closed his eyes and his face lowered to meet the floorless ground. "
Maybe I shouldn't be surprised,
" Raphael spoke to himself. "
Afterall, I'm only human...
"
