The young genius heard Raphael call his name and so it flinched him out of his reading. Telvern turned his vision towards Raphael and shook his head. "Sure," said Telvern as he grabbed the tele-tab from the pouch strapped to his waist. The four then gripped tightly onto the tele-tabs in their hands. They symphoniously slam the tablets towards the ground and each tablets shattered into thousands of pieces.

The familiar light then wrapped around them, embracing them in a warm and enveloping hug. The four disappeared from view just moments later, leaving only sparks of light behind. Anabel watched with her black eyes as those sparks danced with each other. That warm smile on her face still there but she knows what had happened and the lament and guilt she feels lingered and stood in place.

As the group from Lumbridge realized their loss that they had to endure, a man of a different sort was in a deep pond of question. Across to the east laid the Imperial Kingdom of Governanti, home to the many superior beings that roamed and laughed at the many flaws of the humans. Gazing up from several floors above the ground was the king himself, Balor.

He was in his room with the many portraits of his beautiful sister, Lucia. His peerless sapphire blue stare gaze out towards the sea of buildings and endless blue sky. His hands were folded behind his back as he looked out to the world. Off the face of the glass was his reflection, he appeared to be a man in deep thought.

What he thought about was nothing other than that day of his crowning. More specfically, that female archer. His mind flashes with the images of her pale blue irises piercing into him as if she were looking deep into his soul. Her eyes cut right through him and revealed in him something he had never felt before.

Was it fear? Terror? Staring at her face was like a haunted reflection, something about her just didn't make sense to the king. "That archer..." he mumbled to himself. "Just who is she?"

Behind Balor, the door blew up with the sounds of tapping. Probably somebody knocking the door. Balor refocused himself, tossing away his deep sea thinking for just this moment. "Enter," commanded Balor to whoever it was behind the door. The door slowly pulled open, a click popped into the air as it did. Behind the door was Balor's only trusted source, General Gallows.

He came into the door with soft, considerate footsteps. His armoured feet stepped down onto the red carpet of Balor's room. His sky blue glowing irises gazed upon the cape of his king. "My lord," greeted Gallows. The general closed the door behind him and began walking towards the king. His footsteps stop just seven feet from where Balor stood. Gallows fell down to his knees once he stopped walking, bowing his head and body to Balor.

Balor spun his body around, his face now looking down upon the hairless head of his general. "Gallows," named Balor. "You have returned with good news, I'm sure."

"Absolutely, my lord," confirmed the general. "Your belief of those cowards hiding within the walls of Ormemel was correct, sire. The Desert Assassins made sure that their presence there was purged completely."

A confident smirk appeared lightly on the face of Balor. "Excellent," said Balor with a devilish glee. "Those curs will think twice before hiding within my city."

"I have also sent the letter to Libitina of your request of an audience," continued Gallows. "She should be here soon."

"I am here," mumbled a stolid voice from the left of the room. The woman which spoke took a step forward, entering the light of the window that Balor once gazed out of. Her head was bowed as she walked forward. The king and the general both turned their attention onto the woman, onto Libitina. Balor's beautiful sapphire blue irises stared upon the black figure.

Balor's hands remained folded together behind his back as he acknowledged the presence of the woman. He seemed completely unfazed by the appearance of Libitina. Gallows, however was utterly infuriated by her appearance. He slowly rose to his feet, his sky blue glowing stare glared sharper than a spear. "You wretch," angrily named Gallows as his right hand grabbed tightly onto the handle of his blade.

Balor pulled his left hand out to his left, towards the aggravated Gallows. "Calm yourself, Gallows," commanded the king. He spoke in a relaxed, at peace kind of voice. "There is no need to treat our guest with such hostility."

Libitina rose her head up, her emotionless glowing red irises now gazed upon the completely serene king. The woman kept her eyes onto Balor, he didn't seem the least bit intimidated by her stolid gaze. Balor stared into the sea of endless apathy without fear, a slight evil smirk grew on the king's face. "Your visit today shall do you well," he stated. "I have a job for you."

Libitina gazed at Balor with an intense focus. Her gaze looked straight into his sapphire blue eyes as if she were searching through his mind. "Kill Raphael Béla," she spoke softly.

Balor had an impressed look on his face, he turned his body back towards the face of the glass which had it's sights upon the world outside. His hands once again came together behind his back. "Quite an extraordinary talent you have," he complimented. "But if you wish to keep your life, I would advise you not to do that again."

"As you wish," acknowledged Libitina, bowing her head.

"I know without a doubt that that fool still lives because of the weakness of your people," stated the king. "Do not fail me, Libitina."

"Very well," responded the assassin. She twisted her body around, her front now back inside the mouth of the shadow of the room. She began to walk away from the king and his general without a sound hitting the air.

Balor closed his eyes. "Be sure that the job is done," he asked with a serious tongue. "I despise being disappointed." Gallows' eyes followed the black figure as she walked away from the two, his hand still tightly gripped onto the handle of his sword. There was an open window at the end of the room, where Libitina was heading.

Just about five feet from that window, Libitina paused and stood in place. Just within a few seconds of pausing, she then began to sprint towards the window with swiftness at her back. Once her legs carried her to just in front of the window, her body leaped four feet into the atmosphere. She glided into the heart of the open window.

Her body flawlessly sliced through the air as it entered the outside, out into the sun that was the crown of the sky. She was about several hundred feet from the ground as she now was free-falling downward. She was not afraid or nervous even though her eyes stared down at the incoming emerald green grass.

She looked like an eagle sweeping down towards the ground to a targeted prey. Her hood and all of the loose cloth she wore rattled and waved as she fell. Her feet hit the grass, crushing the many swords of grass underneath her heels. A loud thud pounded the air as she fell down onto the face of the verdant floor.

Her right knee dug into the ground while her left knee arched upwards towards the sky. Her hands were planted firmly onto the ground on their respective sides. Libitina's red irises stared still at the grass, their glance spoke a passionless tale. Her head then pulled back up, her face now looked upon the adamas gates that symbolized the power of the gods.

She then darted towards those gates with exceptional speed. Within the blink of an eye, she was on top of the gate. Her feet were glued together, sticking side by side to each other. She stood tall and straight on top of the thin crystal line. Her crimson red irises glanced up at the endless blue.

The sunlight was almost unhindered, there were a few clouds in the sky but they were mostly small. She realized the mission and grasped it completely. Kill the young leader of the Lumbridge Resistance, sworn enemy of the Imperial Kingdom. Her feet then hopped off the crown of the gate, she began to take a fall from fourteen feet.

After a moment, she lands perfectly on her feet. They are planted firmly onto the stone brink pathway that acted as the veins of the city. She then stood up straight and tall but her head was bowed so no one could see her face unless they looked from under. The market district in front of the assassin was a flood of bodies.

People caped each and every inch of the wide space. Without hesitation, Libitina entered the sea of bodies as a boat entering a brewing storm. Her thoughts were twisted around the thought of Raphael, she may have never met him but she knows all about him.

People stared at her for she was a black sheep in a swarm of white sheep. And almost because her complete lack of realizing or even caring that a person was just in front of her. She pushed and shoved anyone that came into her way without a second thought. For all that mattered to her now was getting to Lumbridge and finding Raphael Béla.

The king watched Libitina from above like an angel from the heavens staring down. His sapphire blue irises gazed at her back, a smile steadily rose like the sun on his face. "I believe I can rest assured that the end of that scum is near," thought Balor.

Gallows lets his hand free of the handle of his arms. His sky blue irises turned towards the back of his king. "And why do you believe that, my lord?" curiously questioned Gallows.

Balor closed his eyes. "Because Libitina has never disappointed me," the king answered, a laughter hides under the covers of his voice. "She has killed each and every single person I sent her after without failure. Even that worm Markus didn't stand a chance."

Gallows smirked evilly along with Balor. "Then I hold no doubt that she will be successful," declared the general.

Balor's eyes settled back up at the sky. The luminous lamp of the sky shined keenly upon the heads of the people down below. "Upon this day, I know," said Balor with confidence. "Raphael Béla will die."

Many hours passed after this event, where the devil greeted the dealer of death. Upon the wings of change, the day of light transformed into the night of darkness. And unto the darkness, a demon was walking about. It was exactly 12:34 am and at the castle of Lumbridge, the home of the lead of the resistance, she arrived.

Crawling out from the shadows was the dealer of death, Libitina. Her red irises gazed upon the back of the castle. In the nighttime, her eyes were like a lantern as it dealt out a faint light. In front of her was a twenty foot high wall of gray stone brinks. An easy challenge for this highly skilled killer. Within a moment's notice, she was running up the wall at the fast speed of thrity-miles-per-hour.

As she ran up, her footsteps did not a single sound. They were as silent as the moon. She stood on top of the tall stone wall, the silverlight of the sky beating at her back. There were no archers to hinder her infiltration. She shuffled her head left and right, making sure that there were no resistance to stop her. There was nobody.

She returned her focus back onto the task at hand. Her head faced forward, towards the tall and impressive looking castle which stood at about fifty-six feet tall. She dropped down from the top of the wall and down towards the other side of the grass. She once again lands perfectly onto the ground, only a very quiet thud is thrown into the air.

She then looked up, her eyes focused upon a closed window. To her left, she heard two voices that whispered to each other as well as a pair of footsteps that were coming her way. She only had just a few moments before she was discovered. She quickly rushed towards the wall of the castle. She went from the ground to standing inside an open window within the blink of an eye.

Elena sat quietly in her room, she couldn't quite go to sleep after the revelations of today. She was sitting at a small oak wood table, the chair she sat on was made of the same kind of wood. The table was at the right of the room, up against the room. On the wall beside the table was a window that shined the only light into the room.

The young archer wasn't wearing her usual teal blue leather coat, she wore her short-sleeved black collared shirt that's always underneath that coat. Her bow and quiver of arrows stood beside her bed while her sword stood beside the door into the room. She thought of many things as her pale blue irises peered out into the night.

But then something took her attention, she hears an unusual noise that came from down the hall. It certainly grabbed her focus. She jumped out of her seat and began walking towards her door with a slight haste. Once in the face of the door, her left hand latched onto the handle of her Steel Longsword.

She glued her right hand onto the doorknob, twisting it to the right. She pulled the door open and then slowly began to walk outside of it. She then began to walk quickly towards Raphael's room. Down the hall that was lined with many doors of sleeping soldiers, the door at the end of the hallway was Raphael's room. Within the walls of his room, he slept peacefully in his cotton bed.

Little did he realize that his death was just moments away. Just above him stared the sharp glare of a death sentence. Libitina stood at his bedside, her dagger was gripped in her right hand and held close to her body. She held it at about the height of her chin as her red eyes looked down at Raphael's face without emotion.

She stood there for half of a minute just staring down at Raphael with her dagger at the ready to make the kill shot. To her, a war was being waged. She wanted to thrust the dagger into him but it felt like her arm was a statue, it felt like it didn't belong to her. Flashes of images in Libitina's head that she couldn't understand suddenly burst like a volcano in her head.

Her slow and silent breathing then began a trembling pant. Her right hand, the hand that handled the dagger, began to quiver intensely. Just outside of the room stood Elena, she planted her right ear against the door to listen in. As she listened, she heard the sound of footsteps that sounded like it was in a haste.

Elena did not like the sound of them at all. She quickly pulled her sword from it's leather home. Then, swiftly latched her right hand onto the doorknob and twisted it frantically. She threw the door open as fast as she could to reveal the room and whatever it was that was going on inside of it. What she saw with her alert pale blue eyes was the room as it should be. Nothing that she suspected had happened.

Raphael's eyes opened up just as she entered the room. His purple eyes flipped over to his right, where the door and Elena were. Raphael slowly rose from the grip of his bed like a vampire raising from his coffin. "Elena," he called, his voice spoken as if he didn't just awake. "Was somebody...here?"

Elena shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know," she answered. "I think-" Just before Elena could finish her sentence, a gust of wind blew into the room. The window that Libitina opened in order to enter the room was left opened.

This threw a red flag sky high in Raphael's mind. "I shut that window before I fell asleep," he thought to himself. He bolted out of his bed and began walking over to the open window. Raphael's usual Azure blue coat was hung up on a coat hanger. He just wore his tight-fitting dark gray shirt which always goes underneath his coat.

Raphael stood in front of the window. He stood hunched over, his right and left hands are planted against the surface of the rim of the window. His vision took a hard look deep outside. He then placed his left and right hands up on the grips of the window at the bottom of it. He then pushed the window down, shutting it closed.

Elena took a step forward. "Raphael?" she called out to.

Raphael stood up straight, his purple eyes continued to gaze outside. "Well, Elena," Raphael also named, returning the favor. "I think you might have just saved my life."

Elena pulled her sword back into it's sheath slowly. "Why?" she asked. But then she joined Raphael on this terrifying trail of thought. "Do you think...there was actually an assassin here?"

Raphael shook his head. "I do," he confirmed. He turned his eyes over to Elena. His left index finger pointed at the window he just lifted himself off of. "This window wasn't opened when I fell asleep."

Elena raised her eyebrows. "I did hear footsteps before I entered," Elena mentioned. "The assassin might have heard me outside of the door and ran before they could get spotted."

Raphael crossed his arms. "Well," said the young leader. "I know exactly what our next move is."

Elena turned her head towards the window. "The Desert Assassins," she named, turning her head to Raphael. "Right?"

Raphael shook his head, confirming her answer. "Right," he confirmed. "They've done too much damage to the resistance and are way too unpredictable to be left alone. If they truly are a weapon in Balor's arsenal then they must be stopped."

Elena shook her head. "I couldn't agree more," she corresponded. "I'll rally everybody together tomorrow. I'll brief them on the situation as I'm with them."

"All right," he agreed. Raphael looked away from Elena, his purple eyes gazed outside of the room. Raphael drew in breath into his lungs, letting it out into a relieved sigh. Elena then began walking towards the door to leave the room. Raphael turned his head back towards Elena. His eyes gazed upon her back. "Elena, wait..."

Elena was just at the mouth leading outside of Raphael's room. Her ears caught the ball of Raphael's voice and she paused just as Raphael requested. She turned her head back, her pale blue irises gazed at Raphael's uneasy face. "What is it, Raphael?" Elena spoke.

Raphael let out a light smile on his face. "Thanks," the young silver haired man thanked

Elena shook her head. "Of course," she responded. "Do you need me to stay in here to keep watch while you sleep?"

Raphael turned his body around. "Uh," spoke Raphael. "Well...I guess it's better safe than sorry. But only if you're up to it."

Elena lightly smiled. "I wouldn't ask if I weren't up to it," the archer replied. "Besides, it's my sworn duty to protect the people and the master at any cost. That's you, you know."

"Right," said Raphael, walking over to his bed. "Well, thank you for everything."

"Anytime, sir," she stated as she closed the door into the room shut. She walked over to a oak wood table and two chairs at the head of the room, just in front of the window that Libitina used to enter the room. She pulled herself down onto the chair nearest to the window which was at the upper west of the room.
