Look for asterisks. Two quotation marks are currently asterisks, and a "didn't" has an asterisk in it. Lord Yatagarasu, the Black Sun.
Thank you for giving me your power.

Monkeys Uncl on page 4 also mentioned that. Strangely enough, the n in didn't is almost always cencored when I copy paste from a word document. Quotation marks are also cencored in some cases. I'll try to go through and find em all. :D

(Don't ask me why :P )

Chapter XIII

“So... you said you would increase my power so as to help me in our mission. How can you do this?”
“Well, you learned how to manipulate nature, air, fire, water, earth, and cosmic power by yourself, and by exposing yourself to those elements. Well there are four other important powers. Smoke, shadow, blood, and ice. These are the ancient powers. I cannot give you full power in these, but I can give you a small amount. By practicing with these powers, you will make them more and more potent.”
“How will you give me these powers?”
“With a simple spell.” Lucien opened up his hand and a dark orb of surging power went from his hand into Gregory’s chest. He felt immense pain, but at the same time incredible power.
*Do not trust the power I have given you yet. It has yet to grow. Go and practice it on weaker creatures until it is potent.

Your smoke power is cast by opening your hand and shooting smoke at your opponent. This severely damages their lungs and eliminates their visibility for a short time.

Your shadow power is cast by holding your hands up and willing for the sun to be blocked from your area. This spell will block the sun for a small diameter, making nearby enemies blind, and also casting a strong fear into them. You can still see in this situation, but they cannot. The more potent this power is, the greater the radius of the blindness.

Your blood power is fairly simple. You reach your hand towards your opponent, and exert your power to suck their blood out of them. It is a very painful experience for them, doing massive damage, and it heals you with the blood taken out of them.

Your ice power is also simple. You hold both hands in the air, and literally create a box of ice around them. This is also very painful, and makes them immobile for some time.

In addition, these powers can be used together. Smoke and shadow spells work good together. Ice and earth spells work well together as you can place a pile of earth on top of the ice, making it harder to escape from.

Fire and water, or fire and ice spells of course to not work together. Air and smoke spells counter each other. Fire also lights up shadow, so if you want to stay hidden, don’t cast fire while a shadow is up.”

“I understand. So I should just go and practice all these skills?”
“Yes. And one more thing... There is one skill I have never mastered, as all my powers have come inherently from my forefathers. I... I hate to ask this, but...”
“Yes?”
“Can you show me... how to possess another living thing’s mind? That is something I have always wondered, and I can only control undead things.”
“Well... If you show me how to summon and control undead things... maybe I’ll show you have to take minds.” Smirking, Gregory teleported to his camp in the woods, wondering whether Lucien would take him up on his offer, and never realizing how dangerous a master he was taking on.

Gregory was back to doing what he had done all his life. Practice. He was currently practicing his smoke skills. Shooting smoke in every direction, and bothering the animals of the forest terribly, he was gradually getting better at filling up an area with it. As he was going this, suddenly a group of soldiers charged in upon him.

“What are you doing here!” They asked furiously.

*That is none of your business. In fact, I should be asking you, what are YOU doing here?”

“We came because the lookouts saw a fire in the woods, and we were sent in here to put it out and arrest whoever was stupid enough to start it.”

“Well there is no fire, so please leave me alone and get out of my way!” yelled Gregory. The soldiers were surprised at seeing such confidence out of such a young man and the leader came up and said,

“Well, it seems that smoke is coming from somewhere, and as there is no fire, you must be hiding it. So show us where the fire is before we arrest you.”

“It is right here.” Saying this, Gregory blasted them all in the face with a torrent of smoke, hypnotized them, erased their memories of the encounter, and teleported them all to Lumbridge. After this, he realized that he really wouldn’t be able to practice properly with these elements in this area, because it would be visible by other people and he would be caught and interrupted all the time. But then... then he had an idea. A glorious idea. And an idea that would very likely save his life in future.

Chapter XIV

“I’ll build a fortress! A citadel! And it will be so woven in with enchantments and traps and fortifications that nobody will be able to penetrate it!”

But how? Well Gregory had his powers in hand, and it wouldn’t be too hard to get a workforce would it? Gregory teleported to Falador, and walked east to the estate agent.

“Excuse me sir, but can I hire some men to help me build a home for myself?”

“Well, I can offer you a house in a portal. You can buy one at Rimmington for only 1000 coins!”

“No. I am building myself a personal home. I will supervise the building myself, but I need workers. Can you provide some?”

“Well, I can, but it will be much, much more expensive and you will have to get the approval of the workers as to its location.”

“That won’t be a problem.”

“How many do you need?”

“Well, 200 should be enough.”

“Two hundred!? Are you out of your mind? That will cost millions!”

“I can afford it. Don’t worry about the cost. Just worry about getting the men, and make sure they are able.”

“Very well.” Later, when the men had been assembled, Gregory told them all,

“Ok guys, this is a very confidential construction, and I’m afraid I’ll have to erase your memories of what happened every day. You will have no recollection, and will simply see yourself leaving, and then coming back.” The men grumbled, and the more suspicious of them looked worriedly at him.

“However, your wages will be substantial. I will pay 2k per man, per day.” At this, they all gazed with amazement at these incredible wages, and Gregory grinned inwardly. And he knew, that eventually he would have a fortress that would beat all others, one that had absolutely incredible defenses.

Gregory was enjoying himself hugely. It was quite a lot of fun building a citadel with traps all over it, and it was very interesting. He had already told all of the men they would have no memory of the building, and they weren’t even conscious. He simply hypnotized them in the beginning of the morning, taking complete control of their minds and body, and sat still, commanding their every action.

The location he had chosen was a wide open, clear area in the wilderness land between the volcano and the wilderness fence at the far-north side of the wilderness. He was glad to discover that the crystal teleports he made by hand were unaffected by the teleblock in the wilderness. I will tell the design he made for it.

It was intended to be a very tall tower, with windows on the sides. It was square, and each side was about 80 yards long. (That is 240 feet.) This means the area inside for each floor was 6400 square yards. That is a lot of space, and Gregory took full advantage of it. The tower itself was made of solid black marble, with steel melted in between the stones as mortar. He obtained the marble from an underground mine under the volcano, and bought the steel, using his advanced magic to form it properly between the stones.

The tower was to be 200 yards tall, with the sides tilting inward. Each corner of the citadel was a long solid turret of steel that towered al the way to the top. At the top, the tower would be about 30 yards wide on each side, making the top only 900 square yards in area.

There were sixty 10 foot wide floors. He designed a teleport system with 10 portals on each floor. The user simply had to think what location they wanted to teleport to, and the portal would take them there. Furthermore, he made it so that he had to cast a spell on the user, before they could use the portal. He also made it possible for him to teleport to any floor without going through the portals.

In addition, there were staircases, and when you climbed up one, you had to walk all the way to the other side of the tower to get to the next floor. Then across again to the next floor, etc. On each staircase there was a trap for each step. The trap would teleport the person affected to the prison room, if they did*’t have a spell of passage cast on them. The entire formation was held together by heavy spells he cast in the walls and floors, making it possible for all the heavy stone to be held in place.

He placed at least 200 magical traps on each floor, randomly placed. Each would do a massive amount of magical damage to anyone who stepped on them who had not been enchanted with his spell of passage. The traps were invisible, and impossible to avoid.

At the very top, the four corners of the tower went up in turrets of steel, and a throne of marble in the center commanded a superb view of the wilderness. There were no walls on the sides, making it quite possible for a person to be cast off to their death. However it was high enough to make it impossible for enemies to cast arrows that high.

The prison room was underground. He built a huge basement, with 13 stories and the bottom story with the prison room there. This prison room had an impenetrable teleblock on it, and the only way out was by going up a ladder. Whoever touched the ladder without having permission would get teleported back to the center of the room and knocked out. Of course if they could fly, they could just jump right up to the top. But there was a hatch as well, and touching that had the same effect as touching the ladder.

It took nine months for this citadel to be completed. He ended up hiring a few hundred more men to do the work for him. He got the money for it purely from alchemy, alchemizing boulders and turning the gold into coin. By the time it was finished, he had alchemized and spent 473M worth of gold because he was paying such a high wage.

Lastly, he placed a heavy teleblock inside his citadel. The only way to teleport out would be to actually walk outside of it. Gregory, of course, could teleport, and could also teleport other people into the citadel, making it an effective prison on any floor.

He was quite satisfied with his fortress. He had infused the walls with powerful magic, making them ten times as strong as they would normally be, and if he died, the tower would collapse and destroy all in it. Dramatic? Indeed, and he was excited in potentially making it even stronger.

But what would he do with all this space? Well he planned to eventually fill it with undead creatures as guards, and fortify it even more over time.
