"It makes me wonder if we might have to change our tactics slightly," Caelidorus said, seeming to be slightly lost in thought. "If destroying Nrilgroth could somehow draw this other into some sort of angry rage... well, perhaps then we'd have to somehow cut Nrilgroth of from the rest of the worlds permanently so he can no longer create trouble. Though that'd likely be just as difficult..."
"It would probably be easiest to record them with Neuvian technologies, as the majority of my records are carved into stone, thus making them not so easily replicated," Forlirn said, nodding gently. "Paper hardly lasts long enough for it to be viable recording option, after all. Keeping paper records intact for years in a cave... hrmph, that alone would take too much research to bother with. Now that I think of it, I do believe I made a few copies of the more important notes shortly after the humans invented some of the more useful copying devices, but I never got around to transcribing the full collection. By the time I thought of it again... well, then the possibility of digital records was around. Which is what I'll probably use next..."
"Judging by your shape, it would be most difficult for you to speak my language," Forlirn remarked, eying Taika with a decidedly calculating gaze. "It was made for our tongues, thus making it difficult for humanoids to speak. Though I do suppose learning to read it would be easier... if we had decided on a universal form of writing yet, that is."
"The trees due talk, I'm just the only one who listens. Though I probably shouldn't, since they're usually quite rude," Frilarth spoke up, slowly walking closer to Taika with a look of curiosity in his eyes. "Of course, I can just be rude back, but that isn't nice. Not nice at all. And I'm not white, I'm silver. I just look white because everything else around here is white, and all that white confuses your eyes."
"Your scales are reflective..." Forlirn muttered under his breath.
