"We certainly should treat this other as a threat," Caelidorus said, his frown deepening. "...But we can't let it stop us from defeating Nrilgroth. Not unless we know anything for certain. 'Twould probably be a good idea to ask Soul if we pass through the mountains again when we are done with the ruins. We need information... Especially with something that may be incredibly powerful."
All in all, the city did not seem to take much notice of the convoy. Noble or not, visitors weren't an incredibly rare event.
"I can easily share my extensive records with you in the future," Forlirn murmured to Rhen, eying the direction of the newcomer from a distance. "Unless you can read incredibly quickly, you'll likely need to stay for awhile to look through them all. And to decode them."
"Reminds me of our ability to 'feed' from lightning..." Caelidorus commented at hearing of how Rhen sustains himself. "According to the scholars, we have an organ that stores electricity and changes it to nourishment, and vice versa. 'Tis one reason we have such great endurance... and also why our lightning tires us quickly."
"It would be... unfair... to present our enemies and offer to join the fight so lightly," Forlirn finally said, having been silent throughout much of the conversation. "An organization which likely controls nearly all of Neuva from the shadows headed by an ancient who lords over the Abyss. And that's to say nothing of the dark creatures that follow his every command."
